Audi R8 5.2 V10 FSI Quattro '09???

Has anyone tuned an Audi R8 5.2 V10 FSI Quattro '09 yet? Any advice on the tuning? Awesome car that I'm sure will be even sweeter with the right settings, I just dont know where to start.
 
Hey, I was having a bit of a problem keeping it from spinning out after I upped it to around 750hp, I stuck a wing on it, highered the downforce all the way, worked a charm. I think I lowered it down a touch and stiffened the springs a bit aswell. beast of a car, hope someone with tuning know-how shares some tips.
 
I Love my R8. Tuned to the nuts. The only think I don't have is the Fully customizable trans. 895Hp, 575ft-lbs, 1313kg weight.

I installed the wing and set full downforce. No issues spinning the car, unless of course it's driver error. The car will spin if you try and accelerate on anything but pavement. And I find if you drop the gear too low and redline it the car will spin if you are turning. I set mine up although it still needs some tweaking. This may or may not work well for your driving style.

I can get mine to corner pretty good but like I said I'm still playing with it. Also hits 180 mph easy on the road courses I've been doing. Top speed with stock transmission is 224mph.
 
Had mine doing 215mph without much worry down the Nurb Straight, Great car, great handling, fast.

I have a huge daft wing on it, sadly, but it kinda needs it to stick them rear tyres down. 830ish horsepower, so...
 
I placed every upgrade on this car i can get my hands on except the suspension i kept the originals!!! its handling like a beast :) the reason for that is that when upgrading the suspension the cars r feeling like a go kart + they r jumping of the surface even when u soften the springs and dampers, and they r tending to under steer, am satisfied with the car this way unless some one has got the best suspension tune.

i have this car but havent made your tunes yet. I do have all upgrades and the wing but my car peaks out at 184mph. Do these tunes of yours increase speed to 224mph?

thanks for this. it still understeers a little at lower speeds, but at least its not a high speed instant donut machine anymore
 
I would change the rear toe higher than 0.06 because it does understeer, something more similar to stock 0.30-.40

I haven't screwed with the LSD too much because I find it to be quite comfortable, if it starts to spin out then you know you gotta lower the accel sensitivity

my ride hide is -18 and -15, just for that extra inclination to turn into a corner

front: 11.5kg, rear: 12.3(ish)kg

I'm still screwing with the rest of the settings, I'm a person who rides the bumpers so these two tunes can differ because of style
 
It won't let me add aero to the Chromeline one... I guess that must be the distinction.

The chromeline has a wing. Its like the buggatti and rises from the back at the car hits speed. You can change the downforce in the tuning section as you would if a wing was attached. Hope that helps :)

I tested this setup on my Chromeline with Sports Softs, turned laps of 1.27 at Trial Mountain. One of my B-Spec drivers is currently using it to dominate the first series in Extreme.

If its doing so in the middle and or exit while on gas, adjust your torque controller and or the LSD. If its under braking, then keep the back end up higher then the front a bit, that'll combat the issue.
 
I found a very soft spring rate and raised ride height with increase in compression wonderful for the ring. Went 30/70 for the power front to back, kept ride height same front to back and increased the acceleration on LSD since I touch the bumpers often.

It's got all upgrades, except a rear wing and I use the stage two turbo with a transmission set for 220ish top speed.

Tires are racing hard.

just had to pause my game real quick to comment, this setup is god awful. To each there own, setups are very personal, but this is beyond bad. How this works for you I will never know.

no disrespect, but i agree. i tried this set up and the car just performed terribly. had much better luck with the default set up.

i tried this set up and the car just performed terribly.

Humm.. I use this set up with a standard hand controller and it seems pretty good. Racing soft tyres and the full racing gearbox. I needed the gear box to allow a top speed of 380kph.

I'll try Per's changes and see.
