Audi R8 Problem

In GT4, on the side of the Audi R8 Race Car '01, there in big letters, was "Infineon".

Now, in GT5, there is just 8 blacked-out rectangles.

What happened? Was it a licensing problem?

Unless a PD or Infineon rep answers your guess will be as good as anyone else's.
But that's the most likely cause.

Probably licensing deal. The XJR9 doesn't have driver names on it either

it is ashame considering that particular Audi is legendary driving by a group of truly amazing drivers P.D does need to sort out there licensing issues like this out though this Audi is 1 of my all time favourite race cars in motorsport history well ever since ive been born anyway lol

Infineon's sponsorship of Sonoma/Sears Point ran out last year, so i'm guessing licensing issues stopeed this as well as the track getting into GT5.

Just wondering because that looks ridiculously good for GT4, I've never seen the trees in such detail.

(Without labels I would've thought that was the GT5 pic, and the GT5 pic was from GT4.)

It is licensing, more than likely.
If you notice, we do not have Infineon to race on in GT5.
