Aus/NZ GroupC Tuesday Night Racing

Hi all

This is usually hosted by myself on a Tuesday night as a part of BFG Racing. We run what I call a 'stint' series of races. The races aren't recorded or scored, just setup into what was considered a stint length in our longer endurance races (before tire wear 2.02 patch)

The regulations are fairly simple.

GT500 Premium Cars from 2005 onwards.
600pp
No Aids (No ABS)
Racing Medium Tires (or worse)

Everything else is open, strategy, setup etc.

The races are approx 20-25minutes each (10laps of Suzuka for example). Track settings are set to real where ever possible including weather.

The room is held in the open lobby and I will post a room number when I open it. It is open to all who want to race, but clean racing and general etiquette is expected. Penalties and Damage will be off to encourage close racing, but you will be expected to keep two wheels on the track at all times (the track edge is determined by the white line) Cheating, Corner Cutting, Dirty drivers will be removed from the room without hesitation.

I will try to open the room by 9:15pm NZ time. Races should start at 9:30pm NZ (7:30pm Sydney) time and should commence every half hour thereafter.

Tracks likely to be run in no particular order.

Suzuka - Weather ~10laps
Fuji F ~13laps
Nurburgring GP/F ~10laps
Spa - Depending on owners of DLC
Monza - Weather ~13laps
Cape Ring Periphery
Deep Forest ~16laps

Yes I run it every Tuesday, I forgot about this thread yesterday when I couldn't make it, normally I would give some warning that I won't be hosting if that's the case. Will be next Tuesday though so hope to see you there.

Will run the same format but will be restricted to Racing Medium Tires and allow ABS for the players that want to use it.

Am looking to run a Group C room in the coming weeks as well.

Yeah last race would start then, or maybe another later at 10pm Sydney time. That's when I jump offline, but the room can stay open depending on who has been racing

Next Tuesday will be LMP cars.
