Have been thinking over the last few days, that any chance that Nissan and PD might get involved with V8scs or some such and have an Australian based event that could land a driver into one of the Nissan v8sc for the 2014 season or at the very least drive in the enduros as co drivers.

I'd like to see it too. Austalian V-8 racing is awesome & to be able to qualify for a driver's seat ?? Wish we had more V-8s in the game 👍

there was a tv show down here and the winner of the comp got to run in the bathurst 1000 race. the tv show trained them to race but yea they ended up like crashing or something though..

If the V8 people were ever going to put a computer game player into a car, it would most likely be via iRacing - they already sanction a series there, which has several drivers with at least Konica series experience.
It would be nice to be included in the GT academy, but.... I guess there were 180ish countries left out.

I race in that series on iRacing and it is ridiculously competitive. Anyone interested in racing V8 Supercars online in a huge series, iRacing is where it's at.

The fact that we aren't even included in the 2012 GT academy would suggest that kaz has no intention of ever running a GT academy competition in Australia ever.
I can't believe we can't even download the bloody thing without creating a euro account, sure we aren't eligible to win but we should be able to download it from the oz ps store. and dose this mean that we won't be able to to get the new cars and track included in GT academy 2012 if we don't have a foreign account ?
