Auto Create BB Code for Forum Link?

Probably pointless feature thought:

I just made this post which links to the ongoing Bahrain F1 thread. While I was clicking back and forth between two tabs to make sure I got the correct 'visible' name and the correct URL, and after trying to remember the key combo for paste-no-format, I wondered if there would be any mileage in creating a function to copy the completed BB code to the clipboard?

So I'd click the button in that thread and get

[URL='https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/formula-1-gulf-air-bahrain-grand-prix-2020.396876/']Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2020[/URL]

Or does that function already exist somewhere and I'm, you know, a bit of a thicky?
