okay, so hear me out.

It sucks to have to grind and grind to get that super expensive car in the game. In real life most people finance cars. They don't go down and plunk down the enitre payment. Well, some do.

I think it would be cool their was a bank in GT6, you could go get a loan, buy your dream car, then monthly/weekly payments come out of your cash. If you don't have the cash that week. You don't have access to the car.

It would be sweet.

I think this is getting out of hand.

Even though your idea isn't bad, this is suppose to be "The Real Driving Simulator".

Not "The Real Living Your Life With Loans Simulator". :)

More your going to have to elaborate on your idea. I hear you knocking but you have to let me in.

in real life, anyone who can afford a Lamborghini or a Ferrari pays cash up front.

^^ This.

And, because I want to contribute something here, if there was an option to either buy a car in one payment, or take a loan, I wouldn't want the loan because I'd rather pay $1.5 million up-front, complete with suitcases, for an Aston Martin One-77 I'll drive every once in a while.

So, would I need to have full coverage insurance on all my GT6 cars??

I'm gonna need a loan for that too. :dunce:

Then (WHEN) I crash, will my rates go up.

I think this is a bad Idea.

The best thing would be if in Career Mode, you were a Race Driver and had an actual team and Sponsors so you wouldn't have to pay a cent for the cars to use in A-Spec (Or the most expensive ones like LMPs for example). So you could save money easily for the cars you actually want.

yeah i doubt this would ever be a great idea for GT6 it would take alot of love away from the game.

thats an even worse idea, whats the fun of getting a $5 million car free every time you want one? i would rather buy one (or finish hard races) and get the chance to say FINALLY.

and besides most cars in the game are usually less than $1 million anyway

It would be interested to see this feature, as long as it's intelligently implemented. Indeed, I think the whole money function within the game ought to be more realistic (or closer to how it is IRL than it currently is).

It's an okay idea, but it'll completely ruin the exclusivity of the expensive cars, as anyone will be able to get them as soon as they are at the required level.

Perhaps if these cars had a TDU-like feature built in, by where they can go out of stock, to fix this, but I'd say just stick with the system they have now.

Or perhaps make the resale value of cars more realistic, instead of ridiculously low figure based on its initial value. And let it account for how much you spend on the car in upgrades.

I'd be a bit concerned about the fictional populace taking out an exorbitant amount of fictional loans to finance cars beyond their fictional means as a result of easy fictional credit, resulting in an unsustainable fictional economic boom and the closing of fictional banks, plummeting the GT universe into a massive fictional recession.

Now this is funny.

LOL that's bound to happen.

I doubt this idea would be in sim city, forget being in Gran Turismo 6.

This idea was in SimCity.

In Capitalism, the object of the game is to build a business. But if you concentrate on trading in the stock market, you can easily buy up your AI competitors stock and win the game.

What if we could just lend credits to each other and charge interest? I could become a loan shark and would never have to race with those stupid robots.
