Auto Salon 2004 Melbourne

Anyone here going to the Melbourne Auto Salon at the Exhibition center this weekend? (3rd and 4th of April).

Apparently there will be the worlds first convertible WRX! i think it would look a little funny but it will be interesting.

Should be good, Dyno testing all day!! These sort of events make GT3 even more tastey, it gets you all reved up and makes you wanna play even more!. VROOM VROOM!!

I went to Brisbane Autosalon, it was ok...i was expecting stacks of rice, but i was surprised! Some very nice cars there! (except the BarB, yuck!) Pity there was only one Mini!

I hope he's talking about the quad rotor BMW. IMO the least ugly one

What those guys do to cars is enough to make a grown man cry. However I understand that now there's a required dyno testing. That'd make for interesting viewing, separating rice from errr... high powered rice.

I went on Sunday, it was good. There was only one Mini there as well. I don't care for them that much anways. There aas a lot of rice there too! Heaps of R33's a few 34's and lot's of WRX's. Dyno testing all day was fun to watch. There was an amulance there that was decked out with subbies and amps. The amount of rumble that thing generated was amazing.

The BMW, i absolutley hate the bloody thing! I mean, i love that Quad-rotor, but has it even made a pass? or just won trophies at every event this and last year?

Hey sorry it took me so long to reply, but i have been busy at work. I didn't manage to see the convertable WRX, i only seen it in the free auto salon mag. Looked ok

That pos of **** Barb actually made a pass not sure on its time but, i actually saw photos from melbourne auto saloon and saw pics of osmans convertible rexy, god dam it was a p.o.s its only 1 seat in the middle everything looks fiberglass and also the gear shift is right between the legs :S
