i use stick so use automatic has well got my times down to 1.33.074. but today i was running alot closer to the ghost car think i was on for a high 1.32 maybe abit lower but anyway after many many many trys you start to notice small things and one of them was the way the car blipped the revs for no reason out of last corner, it also did it coming out of the 2nd bridge or out of that corner under the 2nd bridge just blipped the revs and i can assure you it was not me by doing this im sure i lost some time any answers to why the car does this

dont understand why tc blipped the revs when i never asked for it to do that, only when ever i got close to the ghost car where i m sure i was going to get my times down it did this

I think I experienced this when running auto trans. The car was in 2nd gear and overreved when the tires slipped due to too much torque.

tried today with no tc turned on and yeah did the same blipped revs out of 2 corners costing me 10ths

I think GT's A/T setup considers wheel spin (or shifts at a MPH point rather than RPM) before shifting, so if you're bouncing off the redline in an A/T, it may be due to some wheel spin which would be slowing you down anyway.
