NISM0_SKYLINE's Alfa shot for me. For someone who's become quite bored of detail shots recently, the whole image works so well - vibrant colour, a great angle and depth of field and good lighting.

With regard to the other images, I personally think Speedster's Porsche image would have worked better if he hadn't reduced the saturation - it's a great racing image and needs more impact. Roo's shot looks great but again it needs more impact - perhaps higher contrast. Spencer's shot is great but such a pity that a pole or part of a fence is in the foreground, and it's quite distracting.

As for why I didn't submit one, I've had a busy Christmas period! I'll try and submit one for the next comp 👍

Gee, thanks guys :embarrassed:

I had to go with Syntax Error's shot, the capture is perfect. The car sticks out, but the S-curve in the background deserves just as much attention. It just sticks out as a classic racing shot 👍

I had to go with Roo's, not only because I love Mini's but because the subject of the engine transplant is very cool to me. The picture tells a story and has a lot for me to look at. I really enjoy it and I wouldn't mind having is on my wall.
