Winner: Week 61 - Theme chosen by Syntax Error

THEME: Their words: "Inside the Car

I'll keep this one pretty ambiguous, The shot has to be taken from inside the car. It could be of anything and any part of inside the car.... this is a chance for people to get creative so don't just shoot the dash & console, well unless that's what you want your shot to be. Some suggestions are to shoot the road you are traveling on, another car, people in the car, part of the car, climb into the boot and shoot from there.... really there is no rule apart from having to physically be in a car when taking the shot."

Thank you for taking time to read this and I will hope to get a good number of entries on Wednesday the 20th of January.

No takers for this comp? I wanted to take a new shot but as usual I'm stretched for time so this old one will have to do.

I'll likely close both this and the model competition a few hours later than normal...probably around 3 hours later. I'm going to wait until I get home.

That being said...I didn't have much to choose from for this one, so I chose a very old picture I took (it also seemed to go with the theme of entrants so far! Though I just thought of another set of photos I took....). However, I could also have chosen the "Bullitt" inspired one again, because it was taken from inside the car, looking in the side view mirror. Though I also have this:

But it is ineligible because of how much photoshop I have taken to it. I invite people to guess what I've changed.

My suspicion is that the Ferrari wasn't actually in the original shot? I'm probably way off.

Well that was timed badly. I was meaning to enter this, but had a few things on my plate as of late.

Next one, next one.

Close, the Ferrari was in the shot - however it was not moving. And it was behind a Dodge Caravan...that I got rid of. There is one other thing I changed, and I left a big hint. :sly:

Aw, I'm sorry you missed it. :ouch: Good thing you only have one day to wait for the next one...

... guess, .. the 'vette wasn't in the picture either?

I only say that because it seems a little big in comparison to the trailer it's on, although there is nothing to put that in perspective either.

Nope! Both the Ferrari and the 'Vette were in the original photo. (The ZR1 was on the trailer with a CTS-V).

Treat this like an "I Spy" challenge. There is something...fairly obvious.

Well it appears to be a mirror image..

..umm possible dodgy blur and clone work around the tail end of the lower level of the trailer, maybe a car on track in front of the ferrari, or another car on the back of the trailer... dunno...

Did you photoshop out a windscreen wiper or something...

**edit the more I look at it, the more the back end of the trailer looks like its had serious clone tool... and the door of the vette looks quite 'smudged' **

hmmm
?

Well, I was just hoping for the mirror image (I flipped it, I thought it worked better this way), but thank you for pointing out my photoshop mistakes. :sly:

The bottom of the trailer is not that well done. There was a car in front of the Ferrari, so I got rid of it. However, I could have done a better job. I believe this was before I took a course in such things. :dunce: And I did blur the door of the 'Vette because of the noise, however it probably didn't need it...
