Tough week. B&W theme is certainly a hard one as it can easily level the playing field. LongbowX's shot is wicked. The other stand out for me is 80Y 2C2's drift rims. Oh and dude, change your location under your avatar from Sydney to middle of nowhere!

Went for NISM0_SKYLINE's excellent Ace Cafe motorcycle detail shot. There are some great tones going on there, and I love how the Ace Cafe badge stands out above everything else, with a drastic black and white above all the different shades of grey. Great clarity too.

My next choice would have been Holden's shot, but it couldn't be my #1 as I can't help thinking it would actually look better in colour. NISM0's photo looks like it was born for black and white, wheras many of the others are potentially great colour shots that have had the colour drained from them. I don't mean that in a bad way - just that many don't work as well in B&W as they might in colour.

I went for HFS. Composition, contrast and depth of field all contribute to a very nice black and white image. My only nitpick would be the strong highlight on the car, personally I would try bring it down to just off white.

Thank HFS, when I took the picture it was almost already B&W so I just gave it an extra push I guess you can say. If it was in anything other the B&W it would look pretty plain and eh.

I went with HFS's shot, the way it all comes together and the position of the car draws me in.

Congratulations to everybody all the shots are great and it was a close call, but I went with NISM0_SKYLINE's shot as like HFS said the badge really stands out.
