Nice enough picture BUT.
Take a photograph of the side, or a part of the side of a vehicle.
Is that not a rear?

Nissan 180SX

Probably someones front lawn by now.

D60

(I don't know why the resizing didn't keep more clarity - I did it the same as I always do. :/)

Oh sorry I miss read that I thought it was a part of the vehicle my mind skipped part of the side :indiff:. Will change it thinks for letting me know :)

Don't worry 80Y 2C2, you're not alone in resizing issue land.

@ Homeforsummer: That van is class, it looks like it's been lowered. Obviously all estate agents are evil but I like their advertising. The tone of the photo is very good too 👍

Thanks, I tried going for a high saturation look but de-saturating it looks much better :) And yeah, that van was awesome. Much better estate agent car than a MINI, but I'm guessing it's just some classic signwriting rather than an advert for a current business. The lows and the whitewalls look awesome on it though.

I've no idea what kind of van it is, this was the only picture I got.

That Cappuccino is ace, Roo :D

I think the van is an old Commer but don't know the model.

I've actually found more information on the model. In the full-size picture I could see it was a Morris, so I googled "morris van" and within a few image results I found a full article on the van :D It's a Morris J van.

The full article is here.

It's an awesome build though. Air-bagged, power steering, 2.8 V6 from a Ford Granada, two-tone vinyl interior...

Strangely though, the signwriting and company name is different in my photo from those in the feature. I can't believe there are two like that going about so presumably the owner has either changed jobs or gone for a different theme!

So, I've trawled through pretty much every photo of a car I've taken since 2008 to find something for this competition. I suppose come to think of it I could have just gone and taken a new one. But oh well, I guess this shot counts. It's kind of the side.

Great find mate and great article I enjoyed reading it. I love seeing old stuff being brought back to life wheather it's standard spec or moded. Bet it sounds mint with the 2.8 lump in it I believe the 2.8 & 2.9 was the Cologne engine and the 3.0 was the Essex engine. Though I'v been wrong before.
Thanks for you research.

I am going to make my first entry into a photography competition ever...
I am currently trawling through pics of the drifting at Knockhill and the rallying around Peebles-ish.
It's so hard to decide!
On the resizing thing: how do you do it? Is it best to alter it in Photobucket or in Windows photo viewer?

hey Aldo my shift racing friend.
Photoshop is best thumbnail at 400 pix wide and fullsize at 900 pix wide in my opinion. you can probably link your fullsize to your thumbnail. I can't so I post a link to my fullsize under my thumbnail.
Look forward to seeing your entry,,,,Jay

Running a little late as well, been trying to finish up all my work before I kick back and enjoy the Easter break. Anyway, I didn't really look too hard for a photo this week as I was in a rush, just grabbed one from the last track day that sort of fits the theme.
