cooperlg1gtp.jpg

THEME: Their words: "Straight Up Gangsta!

Explanation: The subject matter is to include a car that embraces the gangster spirit, either going with the bling bling hood rich rapper style or big Mafioso ride that looks like Tony Soprano would step out of it."

Thank you for taking time to read this and I will hope to get a good number of entries on the 14th of April.

This is going to be a toughy!
Edit: I just found a snapshot of a Ferrari which is parked outside a restaurant in the main kind of mafia district of Melbourne... Would that count?

Yeah, its going to be tough for sure. :P

The only big wheeled SUV I have I entered a few months ago.

I'll see if Sydney can come out with some more gangsters.

Well I skipped the last compitition hoping that this week's compitition would be easier. Guess I was wrong! I'll still try it though.

Although this one might be a bit dangerous. If the car really is a gangster car, I'm sure the owners wouldn't take too kindly to someone taking pictures of their car!:scared:

Yeah, it is tough. Luckily I took a few shots of a suitable car back in February...

I'm not sure about the Ferrari though, as the point is a gangster style car, not just a gangster atmosphere. But you'll have to get the answer from Joey D, he has the final ruling.

Ferraris are only OK if it's been rappered out, you know bling bling wheels and what not.

Some ideas would be blacked out large sedans, cars from the 30's and 40's, blinged out trucks, and pretty much any Lincoln.

Hope that helps out a bit.

So then cruise 8-Mile for a bit and look at the countless "Big rim shops" and Gentleman's clubs? That's too easy .

Ok I'm sure something of that nature will pop up in the pics of a car show I went to last year.
The Ferrari is just bog standard (if you can call a Ferrari that!) unfortunately. I know, it was a long shot

You're white, you'll definitely get shot if you go on 8 miles.

If you stay on the West side of Woodward, it's actaully not too bad. No street I'd cruise all the time, but I don't feel as out numbered or in as much danger then I have closer to Detroit.

I live near donington race track. I'll have to take my chances a get a snap of a drug dealers car. (same thing I believe)

whoa, tough one. Night shot for sure... but the only night shot I have is of my dad's Voyager, which is... lets say TOTALLY NOT GANGSTA.

Mmm this is hard. I don't think that I will have anything for this one. I'll have a look through my photos for something though.

Do drug dealers/gangsters use RX7s or 350Zs? I have tonnes of pictures of those going sideways!

I may not enter either competition this week due to our computer going out and the lap top not being able to edit pictures.

To kick this off....

Tried to give it that sepia look to make it look like a picture from the 1930's.

Hopefully you guys can find something that works, I mean big sedans are perfect if push comes to shove.

It could just be you in this weeks comp
I have found a couple of pictures I took at this vehicle museum in Denmark when I was on holiday there in 08 of a Rolls Royce's flying angel or whatever it is called. It's not particularly arty though - more just a snapshot.

I have no idea what gangsta is, so here's a picture of a modified Mustang.

There's something not quite right about the picture, but I can't work out what.

Here is my entry. I took this picture with my old camera. A Rolls Royce Phantom with a Range Rover for bonus points!

Ferraris aren't usually ganster cars - unless they are one of these, I reckon.

I can't find nothing to fit the bill so will be give it a miss this week.

I can't edit pictures and the only pictures I still have are scattered throughout the internet. So I'm just working with what I can find.
