Winner: Week 84 - Theme chosen by Speedster502

largeetb.jpg

THEME: Their words: "Slow Shutter Speeds

So maybe really slow shutter speeds for panning cars, doing slow shutter speeds for light trails (like car headlight stuff) pretty much anything with a slow shutter speed. Also, I am a stinky butt." (that's just me paraphrasing)

Nice addition there to the theme Chris. I'll see if I can enter. I have something. I might as well enter while I've got internet connection:

Here's my entry:

Team Orange GC8, Monza, 20 Sep 2009, Sony a350

Little rant: why cant the pictures be something a bit more standard like 640 for small and the 1024 for big, it becomes such a hassle to enter. I would enter every week if i didnt have to resize my photos again to these specific dimentions.

Well, I would start off by saying that they are standards...just not your standards. However I will compromise with you on this, as I think it would not be a terrible adjustment to the rules to have 1024px be the new maximum for the large image. Keep in mind, that you can still submit smaller images, this will just be the new maximum. The thumbnail will remain at 400px however.

I don't like this picture, but I had my shutter speed set wrong. So I guess I'll use it to give it a purpose.

Firestone Indy Lights

Damn...
My 2 weeks ago entry would be perfect for this!
Luckily I took more than one photo in that tunnel. Pity they are not all as good as the other one :indiff:

Just do it in Photobucket. Very easy.

This reminded me that I needed to resize mine though...

That's really awesome Nathan.

Thanks! I shot about a dozen photos, aiming for that shot; as it turned out I got it right first time, although it needed darkening slightly once I got home. Really pleased with it.

This would be a good comp for me if I had a nice camera, but I just have the Cybershot point-and-shoot, so I'll just have to sit this one out.

Make the most of what you have and just go for It.
The worst that could happen Is you get no votes lol (like me but It's fun)
