Avatar Program Debate

Yeah. Let's have a debate over which avatar program is the best. I can only think of two, Ulead Gif Animator & Jasc Animation Shop.

I personally haven't tried Ulead before but I like Animation Shop, with all the cool effects you can do, and you can export frames to Paint Shop Pro, edit them there fram by frame and then update them back to Animation Shop so you don't have to copy and paste between the two.

I really don't think there is one avatar program that is the best. I believe each have there own strong points.

Ani Shop 3 has many easy customaizable transitions. Also it is very simple to use and is rather quick.

Uleas Cool 3d is an awesome program i only wish was a bit faster. Ulead cool 3d has the best and most original effects i have ever seen.

Ulead Gif Animator. I haven't delt with this program as much i would like but from what i've seen it is about the same as Jasc's Ani Shop 3.

Fireworks...hmm..not much to say here. I have only seen it a couple times. Though i downladed it, it looked far to complicated so i stored it for later use.

I use Ulead Gif 5...works exellently cause I DLed a cracked version.

I just today DLed Ulead Cool 3D, and the one I DLed seems to have a problem that won't let me get objects(it says Failure or something)...

i use photoshop 6.0 and imageready 3.0.

theres no comparison.

I think that the best tool is the one that allows you to best express your thoughts and idea's on the monitor.

For me:

Flash
Fireworks
Adobe Photoshop
Freehand
Painter 5
Kali Power Tools (plugins for various packages...)
Ulead Products (rarely)
QuickTime
and several different codec compilers/converters....
