Just completed the 24 hr Ring race, used the Pescarolo C60 Hybride - Judd Race car '05. Did some minor tuning. (Thanks to Aardvark GaragE for the tune).

Start of the race was 100% wet, went with Rain Slicks, and the first lap was a skating rink for everyone. One of the corners had everyone off in the sand, very hilarious.

Pulled into the lead on the long straight, and never looked back. I was running two laps before the Pit Light came on, and a third lap was possible and Bob didn't slow down much on the last lap. Went to bed, with the rain still falling.

This Morning, the rain had stopped, and I was running RM front and RH rears, up by 3 laps. I was still able to run three laps on a set of tires, with little drop in speed, before Bob would pit. At 18 hours, Bob refused to run more than two laps without pitting, and trying to push a third ended up with a 10+ min lap.

Ended the race, up by 4 laps. By comparison, running the 908 at LeMans was much tougher!

Now, to try again with a lower PP car!

Im just doing the race now. 3 hours in using the XJR-9 and i ve had to babysit a fair bit. Im currently running RS front and RH rear and get 2 laps out of them and i ve got a 2.35 lead over the Playstation R8, the V12 BMW and Bentley.

It actually started to rain after about hour an half so i sat here and watched waitng for the optimum time to switch. I watched and watched and rain fell but it remained 0%! Then it stopped raining and i ve carried on with same tyre regime.

Where did you get your Peskey Hybrid from?

I think I bought the hybrid, I've been buying cars left and right lately!

When I started LeMans, it did the same thing, it rained for 10 laps, and never moved the rain indicator at all. But when it started moving, it took off, and I happened to be almost at the pit entry when it hit 25%, quick duck into the pits, changed to Intermediates, and back out. Everyone else suffered for a 1/2 lap or more!

Wierd this AI aint it!

Woke up this morning and checked the race, my XJR-9 was over a lap in front and chugging around nicely doing 2 lap stints on RH-RS combo. Im assuming it's been a dry race or else the R8 and Bentley would have caught me up.

Id really like a Bentley and C-60 Hybrid to try in the 24 races, hopefully they'll appear in the OCD sometime.

I got the Bentley and a C-60 if you ever want to use it or have...

Just done the Ring24 again with a Toyota GT-one and it rained the whole race! Well at leats i think it did, all the times i checked it was 100%. Looking at the state of the cars i reckon it was, they're near enough all beaten to buggery and filthy as well.

I just started this last night around 7:00 EST. The first 24 hour endurance race I tried at LeMans fried my other PS3. This new PS3 has a warranty so I figured I would take the risk with the 24 hours at the Nurb. Checked this morning and it seemed fine. Running nice and cool, driver still cruising around.

It is worst when you are doing 24hours in a-spec on nurburgrin you finished up by 15 to 20 laps dont exactly remember , loll and i use nissan gtr 35 tc, way too easy but it's a good think , i would not like to do it 2-3 times to get the gold... driving during 24 hours is already a challenge!
i did 24 hours on 52 hours of real life, i started it friday afternoon and finished 6pm on sunday

It is waay too easy, a few weeks back I made some very impressive progress in the gt by Citroen concept in full rain.
