Just completed the 24 hr Ring race, used the Pescarolo C60 Hybride - Judd Race car '05. Did some minor tuning. (Thanks to Aardvark GaragE for the tune).
Start of the race was 100% wet, went with Rain Slicks, and the first lap was a skating rink for everyone. One of the corners had everyone off in the sand, very hilarious.
Pulled into the lead on the long straight, and never looked back. I was running two laps before the Pit Light came on, and a third lap was possible and Bob didn't slow down much on the last lap. Went to bed, with the rain still falling.
This Morning, the rain had stopped, and I was running RM front and RH rears, up by 3 laps. I was still able to run three laps on a set of tires, with little drop in speed, before Bob would pit. At 18 hours, Bob refused to run more than two laps without pitting, and trying to push a third ended up with a 10+ min lap.
Ended the race, up by 4 laps. By comparison, running the 908 at LeMans was much tougher!
Now, to try again with a lower PP car!
