B Spec 4 hour endurance

Ive done this race maybe 3-4 times on b spec and the best I can get is bronze. The other times my driver has done the race, he has placed lower then third making bronze the best he has accomplished. My driver levels are 25, 24, 20, and the last guy that is never used is a 0. My question is why can these dudes not get gold? I had no difficulty with the first endurance race, just left ps3 one and went out for a bit. It appears I cannot do this for the 4 hour race. Right now to solve my problem, i hope, im training my level 20 guy to raise him higher so its more equally balanced for the race. Any thoughts?

More Power for the Car , its usually that simple .

What car are you using?

Your level 20-25 Bob's should be strong enough to win.

I think you just need to use a slightly better car.

I'm presuming by the B Spec levels you quoted you're referring to the Mazda Roadster 4hrs at Tsukuba..

What model MX5 or Miata are you using, what tyres are you using and have you tuned it in any way??

If you're going to leave your PS3 running and walk away, then your B spec driver will drive at the SLOWEST pace he can. You need to compensate for this by giving him a very fast car, something which is easily a few seconds, or more, per lap, faster than the opposition.

Also, have you changed the Pit Stategy at all, if you have adjusted this, then you might be incurring unnecessary pit stops??

You only need one bob for the whole of bspec, not multiples, I do not know if that will make a difference. I gave my bob the exact same car I used to win the event in aspec, some upgrades but not overpowered and he won easily (but not as easy as myself  )

Is your pit strategy set to auto ? Check your tyres, and it is a good idea at Tsukuba to nurse him up to the lead before leaving him alone. Then check again every hour or so.

You need at least 4 Bob's for B spec, as many of the endurance races requires 4 Bob's

No they do not, they just allow you to use up to 4 bobs.

This has been discussed in other threads, I am not alone in proving this; I have only the 24hour N'Ring left to do in Bspec and I have still only used one bob and his career bar is not even half full. He had no problems running and winning the 24 hrs Le Mans on his own (and he will have to do a few more ;) ).

Hmm i dident knew that.

I also find it odd that your driver is only half way through his career.

My first two drivers hit the career maximum around driver lvl 30.

ATM I have 5 drivers ( lvl 36 B spec)

Maxing our bob's career takes 500 Bspec days. Every day your Bob is alive he ages by a Bspec day whether he races or not. With only one Bob, he has done 246 races (and won 243) so nearly halfway. My other Bob has about 1/3rd career bar even though he has never raced.

So, your Bobs all age by a day whether they race or not, but your bspec XP is being shared (my bob is level 40).

I hope that makes sense.

Hmm actually I have no idea what you are talking about sorry :)

What do you mean everyday he is alive, he ages by a Bspec day ?

My first driver he is level 32. He had 292 races (won 235) he hit the career max about level 30. Not sure how many races back then
My second driver is Level 33. He had 249 races (won 202) He also hit the career max around level 30
My third driver is level 35. He had 88 races(won87) He has also hit the career max, not sure what level he was but my gues is about the same as the other two, or maybe a ltile higher.

I also have some new drivers, wich havent reached max yet.
1 is level 36. 61 races(60 won) He is about 50 % maxed career.
2 is level 31. 25 races(24 won) He is about 15 % maxed career.

In GT you have GT days, these add on by one every time you appear on the grid of a race, special event, seasonal event or license test (the UCL also gets new cars every GT day) - you can find out how many GT days you have used by highlighting you save file when at the PS3 XMB. Well, every time you appear on the grid of a Bspec race you use up 1 Bspec day.

Ok I see.

Bob, or Bobs, are your B-Spec drivers when you play the B-Spec side of the game. As you progress in levels you get to setup drivers. You can have a maximum of 6 active drivers I think (well I have 6 right now)

They are AI drivers you setup to race.
