Well this thread is simply about those times where your b spec overcame all odds! Tell me what happened and why was it amazing.

I will get this going:

R.Eriksson is my 3rd b spec drive with a class of 19.
I gave him the challenge of winning the MR Cup circuit de la sarthe race
with a 633Bhp, 1190Kg Ferrari 430 scuderia against cars such as the:
Mclaren F1 (643Bhp, 1140Kg)
Saleen S7 (750Bhp, 1247Kg)

Eriksson started the race in 7th place (as usual) with the mclaren in 12th and the saleen in 4th, Eriksson had difficulties passing the other A.I. until the straight where he zoomed pasted all except the saleen which was 1st.

The 430 had better acceleration but a lower top speed. I noticed that the mclaren was gaining on him (7th place by the beginning of the 2nd lap).

Eriksson passed the saleen on the beginning of the straight but he was right behind me by the time Eriksson was going though the 1st chicane. I kept the lead until the saleen passed me on the last part of the large straight.

Eriksson was in 2nd and the mclaren was in 4th by the beginning of the 3rd lap. Suddenly on the 1st part of the straight the mclaren passed me and was stuck behind the S7, Eriksson drafted the mclaren and quickly caught up and passed both the S7 and the F1.

He kept the lead until the S7 swooped by followed by the F1. Eriksson was 3rd by the last lap and was really determined to win, he drafted the S7 in 2nd and past it, Eriksson then went after the mclaren which was about 4 seconds ahead.

The mclaren driver started to drift around corners and Eriksson caught up, on the small straight after the chicanes he passed the mclaren and it was a close race until the end but my b spec bet the mclaren by 0.534 seconds and the S7 by 1.031 seconds.

I was surprised after seeing that and i never knew R.Eriksson had that kind of skill.

Tell me your stories! :)

:) Classic
H. Alba and K. Yamauchi are both impressing me greatly at the moment with their ability to drive Le Sarthe at night, in the Formula GT :)
The Sun is currently rising so the hardest part of their challenge is over. They just need to nurse the car home for the next 5 hours :)

Much of B-spec is tedious to the extreme and either a blow out or an exercise in frustration... but M. Tyson in the Minolta on the GT All Stars and the Extreme series has had some really good races that were actually entertaining to watch. Even when he came in second on race and couldn't get rid of that pesky R8 Playstation race car, I wasn't screaming that he was going to go to jail for rape. Then on the last track, he barely edge it out but still won the gold.

Since amazing can be used in a negative sense, I thought I should put this:

He was holding a strong lead. It was Tokyo R246 for 12 laps. No jaguar XJR-9 to chase him down in his Minolta Toyota 88CV. On the 12th lap, he was passed.... by a Zonda LM race car, and he lost the race.

I saw my B Spec driver at level 16 make a feint to pass on the outside, and then dart back to the inside and pass as the AI moved to block the outside pass.

Fantastic !

When Bob was 4th on the last lap on Cape Ring. Everyone was close together, it was going to be a close race. Suddenly, on the last turn, Bob manages to under steer into the 2nd place car, which also pushed the 1st and 3rd place drivers, into the Pit Lane. He crossed the finish line. I shed a tear.

As much as I like clean racing... WIN

My guy won the ferrari race by less than a second. Trailed the enzo the entire race only to pass him on the final turn for a photo finish.

When bob took my mildly tuned Toyota X-Runner in the truck race at Daytona to win.

On the final lap coming to turn 1 he fell back deciding it was completely necessary to brake for going over 150mph. But i forced little bob to push and overtake and coming to the final turn he overtook everyone and won the race by sand grain of a margin.

My guys have a 94 lap lead after 7 hours of Tsukuba, despite spinning out in the very same corner on about two-thirds of the laps. I, uh...guess that takes some skill.

bwahahaha. Hope you saved the video. I'd love to see that on youtube. :D

My driver was once in a race at Grand Valley Speedway, and was in second and having a really good battle with the leader. Unfortunately, he spun at the first corner on the last lap, but managed to recover quickly and close the 5 or so second gap on the leader. It came down to the final corner, where my driver made a stunning pass on the inside and took the win!

I was extremely proud. :D

Are bobs any good with X1s?

Cant think of a story right now, but its nice to read everyone elses :)

Bobs are good at X1s, only a maximum 7 seconds of the pace of Gold times which is way faster than any car. Can lap cars over 60-70 times in 4hr endurance races.

I've given my X2010 to my Bob to batter as I know he will win me a brand new one when I get to Level 35. There is a glitch though, no way can all my Bob's physical and mental strength be so high, it remains higher than when he drives FGT. If it was realistic he would have been drained straight after one lap :sly:.

Yesterday i was running with my S. Stanley Bob the formula GT challenge in the nurburgring track. I where in the 1º position and all the runners pit in lefting only 2 laps includding me. When my bob entered the pit stop the game suggested me to put only 3L gas and i made it. For my surprise, as soon i get back to race the yellow P lighted again telling me that i would pit again in the next lap. Lefting only 2 laps??? I cancelled the pit and risked....... for my surprise my gas become empty in the last corner in the last lap and my Bob reached the line only at 80km/h and no power engine kkkkk........ It was amazing.......... i think that this was and will be the best ever b-spec mode that i participated.:):):)

Roky? Never imagined him as an expert driver :)

American Championship, my Bob(B. Simpson) in RM Z06 was 4th heading into last lap at Laguna Seca and I all but give up on him winning, but he passed 2 cars under going into that corner before the tire-bridge and chased down the leader 3 sec up the road and passed him on the last corner....

So far, my Bob did an acceptable job. Best moment was the Pickup-truck race at Daytona, where Bob lost lead in last lap and I thought about to kill him and 50m before finish line he passed the leader to win the race....epic.

Oh do I have a great moment:

My drivers name is Nash. Was trying to complete the la Festa Cavillino with 458. Did a couple races and couldnt place better then 2nd. Damn Enzo always get passed him and never looked back. After trying a few times, my driver leveled up some and got some Ferrari experience behind him. The next race was epic.

Fighting through the field Nash got to 1st quicker then ever, while the Enzo got hung up in the back. I figured this was the race and Nash would be fine on his own for a bit. Changed the channel and came back few laps later. What do I find? the Enzo ahead of Nash by 5 secs! with just over 2 laps to go. So I got on the horn with Nash to kick his ass in gear. Pace Up man! Gotta catch him.

Finally caught up to his bumper at the last chicane. We have a chance, put the pedal to the medal! Flying down that back stretch, I tell him to over take. He dives into the inside corner of the last turn, and does the unthinkable. He pits the Enzo! Enzo goes spiraling out into the sand! Nash floors to towards the finish line unscathed. I jump off the couch in excetment. He did it. Brought the bullying Enzo down with the 458. So proud.

I have to join into this.

My second 40 Driver, A.Whitehead had been trying to compete with his predecessor B.Strong on the SLS signature edition competition tracks, he had been unsuccessful for several races, but since he was able to perform better solo laps than B.Strong I kept my faith in him, I decided that his driving stats indicated he should perform quite well on Sarthe. After several tries and multiple 13:0x:xxx times, the time had come for him to set his mark and his claim to fame. I mapped out a new commandset for him, tested it in my head several times, and came to the conclusion that it could actually work...

For anyone familliar with this competition, they know how bloody hard it is to overtake the Ferrari and Lamborghini though the porchecurves and towards the Ford Chicanes, but A.Whitehead overtook them at Arnage!, leaving only the GT to overtake, he was disposed of in the Porche curves, leaving me with 1st place before I was even on the Ford chicane straight. My stommach was turning and I was shocked to see the first lap clock in on 4:20:701, wich is just unheard of in that competition, NO ONE in the world had pulled that time on the first lap. I paniced naturally, it was hard to keep focus and contain excitement though the controller to keep A.Whitehead steady on the track, going fast. But somehow I managed, and he clocked in on 12:57:923, a new world best time on the track and still the world leading time at this moment.
A.Whitehead knows now that I will never retire him, and that he will live on my Hdd for eternity.

Funny this thread should pop back up now, I've just seen my Bob do something I never thought possible - he overtook 5 cars, in one go, on one corner - is this a record?

Grinding: Indy dream car championship level 24.

Bob is coming up to some back markers, who are racing nose to tail in a bunch, on the main straight, 3 on the outside 2 on the inside, Bob (driving the Minolta) gets a slipstream, pulls to the inside, starts to overtake (it's now 3 wide) and then dives down the inside for the corner and clears the whole lot of them in one smooth, sweat manouvere..???

:boggled: :boggled: :boggled:

I nearly choked on my coffee...

All hail Sir Bob... 👍

I was doing some race at Daytona. Bob was in the lead on the last lap by a second or so. About 100ft from the stripe, he brakes fully down to 80mph and 3 cars passed him to grab the checkered. I was so livid.

I had my lvl 22 Bob (I Guy) in a race, and he was absolutely tearing up the track..

I was so amazed by this that i slapped him into the Ferrari P330? and let him have a go at the historic car challenge, already golded it with the Toy 7..

On Cote d'azur he was 1st in the second lap at Casino, without any order given, never gave it away, won by 6 sec lead on the Toy 7 and Chapparel. 👍 EPIC WIN, should have saved the replay.

Then tried Nascar, and he came in last, a full lap behind with no rubber left on his rims. 👎

My Bob (K.Smith) was trying to drive a TVR in the British lightweight championship and it was too light and too overpowered for the tires. He spent the entire race fighting to second while all the time doing full powerslides around most of the corners.

So entering the last lap right after the last corner he was in 3rd probably a second back so I was debating my strategy on how to change the car to help him win when I looked up and noticed smoke one of the 2 leaders had spun in the straight and apparently collected the other so Bob picked his way around and past the remaining car to win right at the line.

My Bob was drivng in Japanese Classic Championship on Grand Valley Speedway and was in first for the first 5 laps and then at the end of his fifth lap of six laps he spun my Izuzu 117COUPE and dropped back to second, he began to catch up with the car in first (some sort of old Nissan) and finished the race losing by just 0.03 seconds.

Had Bob in a Murcielago doing Cape Ring and when he went airborne just before the ring starts he landed on top of another car.

MY bob never gets better place then 3 in the "VITZ" race even thou he has a fully tuned car. he just refuses to pass them even thou he would be able to....
