b spec bore!

I've had stab at b spec and well to be honest I don't get it! Why would I want to see a computer controlled bob drive my cars, I want to race them!! Pointless part of the game if u ask me, don't get me wrong I love gt5 but just don't get the whole b spec thing, someone tell me if am missing something here...
