Im sitting here with a problem. I won the Hystoric cars races (got a nice stratos btw;)), but my B-spec cant win the second race in that serie of races. (monaco)

At the moment im boroing a Jaguar XJ13, but i have to give it back soon. I cant win with this car. I just Race Modded a '69 Camaro Z28, but it wont finish better that 8th place.

What car can i use, except the Jaguar? Money isnt a big problem. got at the moment 2.5mil.

I won the Toyote 7 '70 Race car in B Spec mode and I have also got the same problem here. I cannot seem to get him to pass enough people to take the win. Interested to know whta other people have used to win this event! :)

I used the toyota 7, but you need to coach him by saying maintain pace and sometimes overtake, just be careful that he doesn't want to overtake after comming out of the bridge or he will crash. Just coach him with the toyota 7, it's do-able!

Beg, borrow, or not steal a Toyota 7 or Chaparral 2J. Adjust your final gear setting to 2 or 3 points below default for Cote De Azur, leave it as it is for the rest of the races. The Jag wont cut it in B Spec.

After winning "Like the Wind" in A-Spec, you will get the Minolta Toyota 88C-V. Use that to win 'Like the Wind' in B-Spec and you will receive a Toyota 7 Race Car, which will win the Deep Forest race of the Historic Race Car Cup fairly easily. It, however, won't do very well on Monace and will require a lot off luck to win that event.

Otherwise, you'll have to keep an eye on the Used Car Dealership for the Chapperal 2J Race Car, or for someone who's willing to trade it.

I used the toyota 7 race car which I won off the like the wind race's. It took a few tries to win the second race , you have to watch him throughout the race and issue commands properly not just increase the pace all of the time. I would think you could win it with the xj13 I have the chromeline which can't be used but it's very fast so if it could I could get him to win with it easily. Keep trying with the xj13 and always keep the bar just below the end of the hottest part.

The Toyota 7 can win, but it's a difficult one.

My advice would be to re-start if you see the 2J ahead of you on the grid line up. The 2J is incredibly hard to pass.

I stuggled with this one for ages and eventually won it with the Toy (with stage 3 turbo), a 2J back in 10th on the grid and a level 30 driver... the prize car is well worth the effort though.

I can trade you a Chap 2J or a Toyota 7 if you have anything to trade for it?

I still have the set-up on my Toyota 7 that I used to win B-Spec Historic Cup if that adds value lol! :P

When I raced Monaco / Cote D'Azur, I made him drive like made all the way around, I told him to pace down coming out of the last corner before the tunnel, pace up in the middle of the chicane after the tunnel, pace down / maintain pace (if it is around 80% mark) going through the swimming pool section, and then pace up going onto the straight, pace up towards the hill, and then pace down going around the third / fourth corner before you go around the corner thats drops you down the hill, pace up around the slow section, and then back to the beginning. My Bob in my Toyota 7 battered the Chap 2J, he had to catch up, overtake and then run away from it. I did let him gain a few more levels before I did this race though.

I had to aid him in the overtaking area though, I usually either mashed overtake or I played it tactical, like with the 2J, I paced Bob down with two laps to go, let the 2J driver chill out, and then I hit pace up over and over, thus my Bob caught the 2J at the 50% bit while the 2J was at 5%.

Message me if you are interested in a trade :)

Hmm.... so i have to get a Toyota 7 race car, with a stage 3 turbo upgrade, normal race tires, and the Chaparrel (or something) car with the vans at the back has to start behind me...?:scared:

You can use the toyota 7 with stage 3 turbo and make sure to use medium racing tires and it's smooth sailing from there. I'm posting to this forum while bob is racing not even needing to watch him.

the jag WILL cut it on b-spec :)

This race is really about luck. I used my turboed Toyota 7 and I only got to first on the last lap after the AI crashed on the chicane following the tunnel. Just remember to keep increasing pace and staying in touch with 1st place

Used a Level 22 Bob (mid hot/cold temperament; blue arrow at the time) and the Toyota 7 (think I added the mid-range turbo) and he did just fine. There were two 2Js in the race. Once crashed early, but the other one was the main competition.

I won in both A- and B-specs with a stock Toyota 7, just adjusted the down force, gear ratio and suspension. My bob took one fewer try than I did before winning. Had to cool him down at the chicane to prevent him from crashing.

All four of my Bobs were level 21 and won with the Toyota 7. I put the stage three turbo on it and for Monaco lowered the gear ratios two clicks. No other changes. Just have to keep bitching at them to speed up is all. Unfortunatly, you win the sweet Alfa Romeo race car. Which I had already bought. So I have two, cant sell them, cant gift them. Oh well.

This fricken event is doing my head in, i have tried and tried and he just cant do it.

I have a Chapperal 2J Race Car, tuned not tuned coached not coached it does not matter he is utter garbage.(3 differant bobs all over lvl21)

Out of 16 tries he has managed 8th once.:banghead:

I'm losing the will to live.🤬

:)After writing that i ran him another six times and low and behold ne gets 3rd:tup: that will do me, enough to get me my lvl 17 ticket.:cheers:

Also when he had finnished his arrow went green when it had been orange for a loooong time.

I discovered the easy to win B-spec Monaco this morning.

I was grinding the American championship in B-spec and watching Bob charge to the front, build a big lead, then the 2nd-6th (or so) pack would start reeling him in. Happens every time if I don't keep Bob running in the middle. No surprise, but suddenly it clicked in my mind. I could use this against the 2J at Monaco!

So I let Bob give it a go at Monaco (which took Bob about 30 tries to gold the first time) and like always he moved up to 2nd place fairly easy. Normally I would push him to catch and pass the leading 2J, which was also normally a frustrating experience since he wouldn't/couldn't pass that 2J.

This time when he got to 2nd place I SLOWED HIM DOWN. I let that 2J stretch out a nice 10 second lead. Just like clockwork the 2J driver cooled down completely and his lap times fell off noticeably. Then I made my move. I gave Bob pace up commands and he started to heat up and reel in that 2J. By the time he was just at the bottom of the red he caught the 2J. He was running in "the zone" of light red but the 2J was stone cold. The 2J didn't even put up a fight.
