B-spec driver is getting tired?

I have now driven the 24h Circuit de la Sarthe II race with my b-spec driver for almost 10 hours. And on lap 177 the driver just slowed down for no reason, loosing my 3 minute lead. Now he is cruising on the long stretch at 150-200km/t, normally he would run much faster. He is in the Push hard phase as normal.

Can somebody tell my why this is happening? Is he getting tired?

I don't think this particular problem has anything to do with the Le Mans-track.
If it was the fuel that had run out, he would be going even slower, and besides, how often does the B-spec drive really run out of fuel?

The thread linked to by Jackington deals with the crashes on the Mulsanne-straight, not Bspec Bob slowing down..

I've had this happen to me in the Laguna Seca enduro, Bob just seemed to cruise slowly around the track for no apparent reason.
I'm currently a-speccing the Formula GT, and I noticed one of the AI-cars having this problem on the Twin Ring Motegi Road course, so it's not specific to any track. He went very slowly for about half a lap, then sped up again as soon as I passed him.
I have no idea what causes it though..:guilty:

B-Spec does not get tired. B-Spec does not know the concept of being tired. B-Spec laughs at fools who get tired...

...but sometimes, B-Spec likes to slow down and admire the scenery, regardless of the 200mph FGT getting bigger in his mirrors. :sly:

Maybe it's just that Bob isn't that experienced driver and occasionally he has to do a reality check (slow down his pace) so he won't drive past his limits
Don't know really, either Polyphony is trying to simulate something or it's just a reproducable bug..

My theory is, that in some time limit, the chassis will start giving in and wear tyres out faster. B.-spec seems to think that tyres ( despite them being free after purchase) are precious and must be preserved at all costs, thus he slows down to preserve the tyres.
