B-Spec Driver Sharing Question

I had put one of my drivers set to online status for a long while once then when I went to use him it said he earned 70 some thousand credits. Does this mean that someone on my friends list is racing him? And if so, how? Remote racing? Because I never touched him for a long time. Until I took him off online status, when I discovered he earned cash.
