Just in case someone stumbles over this, here's a little explanation regarding a good forum search strategy, maybe it helps some improve their searching.
So the subject was B-Spec arrows. Searching for "B-Spec" will deliver threads where the subject is being discussed, but they will be hidden in a big heap of other threads. Remember that the search brings up all threads which contain the word "B-Spec" in any form. So since B-Spec is a substantial and intensively discussed part of GT5, you will get a lot of search results. And that's not a good thing, because you will have to search through a lot of information to find the one thread you were looking for.
Therefore, use words for the search which are rare. Try to find words of which you think they will be used in the discussion you're looking for, but which are unique enough to produce a limited number of search results. In this case, the words "arrow" will generate much fewer results and still hit the subject 100%. Of course there are other arrows than the B-Spec driver ones which might have been discussed, but the number of threads the search function returns is so small that the ones of interest can be found easily.
To specify the search even better, you can also used the
advanced search. Say you're after the B-Spec arrow question again. You still use the word "arrow" (without the quotation marks) as a keyword, but you also choose the forum in which to search in, in this case the "GT5 B-Spec Forum". This will narrow your search down to a couple of threads which can be read within minutes.
Should the search function come up with nothing, you can still generalize and broaden your search with more or different words. But start narrow to get the most valuable results.
