Currently hour 17 of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The AI for the other 11 cars have them pit every single lap to change drivers because they are tired. Tires are good...fuel full.

I'd be curious to hear of other Endurance AI gaffs. I know there has to be more.

Mine do the most idiotic thing ever. They pit in to change fuel when there is only 1 white line left. They go in pit and have to go in the next lap again in the pit cuz they don't change the fuel and there is only 1 red line left in the tank. (even though that was the reason they first pitted in and not the tires)

first few hr I use 10% pit you should at least 10 lap over everyone, after 10th hr I use no strategy. even they make mistake still do not cost you a race....

For my driver, the fuel runs out before the tires wear out, so I just let them run until they auto pit to fill up.

But knowing you are getting a free 25 seconds on every lap...it would have been pretty easy winning this race with a much lesser car.

I am curious to know how often the AI pits in A-Spec.

i just reached level 25 b spec but have yet to run any endurance races. what happens to the fourth driver when he runs out of strength? i'm guessing he pits and the first driver hops in, but does the first driver have any strength left?

Their strength recovers slightly while they sit out, but don't worry, even if they hop in with little or no strength they will drive just fine. If you give your team the right car/tires then you really don't have to micro-manage them at all.

I don't even bother telling them when to pit, they'll go in when they run low on fuel/tires and automatically change drivers. It's like RONCO - set it and forget it!

Ok cool thanks for the help.

Somehow, Bob always gets dry tires when I set the strategy to rain tires. Any way to keep rain tires on without selecting them on every pit?
