B-Spec problems at Super Speedway?

I'm currently playing the GTWC and Super Speedway Endurance race, which both take place at Montegi Super Speedway. I'm partly using B-Spec for being able to do some other stuff in the meantime, but I have noticed, that B-Spec at Super Speedway once in a while bangs into the walls in the big turns, and then steers into the wall, giving full throttle, skidding along the wall and going nowhere of course. It does this for about 15 seconds, until it manages its way "out" of the wall, which of course sends me back to the last position every time. This only happens when the pace is 4 or 5, not for 3 and below, but i need to push hard on pace 5 for being able to win this race in the GTWC, because i simply can't manage to win that race on my own, cause the Minolta's 1223 HP doesn't work very well with super hard tyres, and my poor throttle control on DS2.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Yes, the cars doesn't have aids on the speedway(the ai),
I did that race with a stock r92cp blacke edition, on r1's, no oil.
You don't need 1220 horses to need a race tho!!

Yep, i also experienced this issue, again with a heavily modded Minolta... Didn't know what to do about it so just A-spec'd the race, possibly the most boring endurance race ever. I also fell asleep the 1st time and woke up at 3am lying on a vibrating controller with the car driving into the wall...

I have tried with other less powerful cars, but they lose the other cars on the long straights where 350+ kph. is needed. I have also tried to adjust the transmission, but then i lose power at lower speeds :(

Try a completely stock minolta on a-spec, no ajustments!!(only aids of for the experienced drivers)

Yes, I have experienced this as well.

I think its the game's way of telling you that you should A-spec this race!:)

When I first saw this two year's ago, I thought that the Minolta got a flat tire.:grumpy:

But my best guess now is that the AI in the Minolta is trying to execute a turn that is on the road course below. What is strange is that the Minolta doesn't do this every lap, but it will do it more than once. Also, not all race cars will run into the wall like this.

I think there is another thread somewhere that talks about this bug.

It certainly happens to the AI, as I know from experience, so it makes sense that B-Spec would do the same. If, when you're driving yourself, you can't win with fewer horsepower than you have currently, then you really need to rethink your line in the corners; it's possible to beat the fastest AI cars in A-Spec with a sub-800 HP car. Since the race doesn't even take very long (45-50 minutes), I recommend A-Spec, assuming you're actually faster than the B-Spec driver.

Also, sometimes if you have Bob running at a higher number (4 or 5, for instance) he simply tries too hard and starts screwing up.
