Does anyone have any advice on how to make a bob not hit the guard rail entering the first chicane on cote in the 650pp seasonal? This douchebag just lost the race for about the 12th time. I keep smashing the pace down button every time I get to the straight leading up to it. Dudes completely in the blue as well(most of the time). Sometimes it happens in the first couple laps but lately its been around lap 7 with a decent lead.

This is one of the most annoying races in the game - B-Spec at Cote is awful with whatever driver you use, and people say that if you keep him cool he won't hit the wall, this is rubbish - he still hits the wall if he's close enough to a car in front so that he thinks he can overtake, there is no hard and fast rule, other than choose the right car, or hope for the right lineup so that it won't happen - more chance than anything.

And it is extremely annoying, but try different combinations, it's all I can suggest.

Thank you for the suggestions sir and you're right, it is rubbish. I have tried about 8 cars so far and every driver I have. Lol. It's the only race I have left in these b-spec seasonals.

I couldn't tell you how I managed it in the end, but I did. I think I might have used the 2J, but can't be sure.

No worries. I'll keep grinding away at it. I'm using a gt40 spec 2 as I don't have a 2j but the gt40 is catching the leader around lap 4-5 and winning by 5-6 seconds.

Hi, if your still taking advice I would say try with a fully tuned Super GT car, probably one of the GTRs. Try to anticipate the race so bob is not to close to other cars. I also seem to remember my bob only took the lead on lap 9 so be patient with him. Good Luck :)

I'm always taking advice. Lol. Thanks for these tips. I will give them a try, considering that gt5 is overrun with GT-R's one of mine should do the trick. Typically to start a race I hit pace up once or twice then hit maintain pace until bob's mood meter starts getting red then I will hit pace down and wait until it's back in the middle then maintain again unless I'm not gaining ground on the lead car/car's. I think I check the lap times more then anything else.

If you want a sure-fire win in SUPER GT, use an NSX. Or the new HSV-010. I got the pack with it earlier, did the B-spec SUPER GT races with it, and swept all of them, leading a Honda 1-2-3-4 at Suzuka. What an incredible car!

I borrowed a friends 2J. The vacuum beat it in the first try. Never hit the chicane.
