Whats this?
Hi all.

ive searched the forum but couldnt find an answer..

WHICH settings does the B-Spec Bob use ???

His own ?
Mine ?

I ask this because i noticed that when i setup my drive-ratio to reach 330km/h (at seouls mainstraight) and just touch the redline before braking (driving in A-Spec mode) and then change over to B-Spec mode for the next stint my BOB ONLY gets 306 km/h !!!

Even if i assume hes coming somewhat slower onto the straight because maybe hes not accelerrating so hard in comparison to me:
Hes not using my setup !

I tried to accellerate very smooth onto the straight so i loose topspeed after that: I still reach 325 km/h ...

Same at Sarthes long straight... Bob is always way slower than me...

So im confused which settings he actually uses ?

Anyone knows ?

:grumpy::crazy::ill:

Same settings but he's technically less experianced...lol you need to get your b-spec points up and then he will go faster...💡

What kind of experience does Bobby need to flat down the throttle ???

Still confused...

the computer limits itslef in varous ways since it cant really adapt diffrent lines unless pushed or run off the road so it slows itself down and wont press the accelorator all the way or it will stop short etc... the AI in gt4 isnt perfect and its never going to be as fast as you well untill you get to the F1 cars then its just annoying that the stupid thing never screws up :odd:

That makes sense, thank you Observer.👍

I hope they improve the AI for GT5...

Happy racing:dunce:

I believe B-spec Bob uses the same advanced settings as you use in A-spec, but as soon as he steps in the car he turns the TCS and ASM up to maximum. This would account for his lower top speed even when sharing the driving in an endurance race. It would also go some way to explaining his uncanny ability to stick to the road.

However, even with his car glued to the road, B-spec Bob does still mess up in the Formula GT - especially at Laguna Seca.

I'm not sure about that because I've used Formula GT '04 in the Formula GT World Championship with the driving aids set to its default values and B-spec Bob wasn't able to win the Championship twice. Then I decided to turn it off and let Bob do his work and finally won it twice.
