Backwards Compatibility with GT5

Hi all,

My son put a deposit on the GT6 Anniversary Edition (all $115 of it OMG!!) at the weekend.

I'm a newbie to this and i can't find anything on the search for the forum but does anybody know if there will be a way of importing the cars he has from GT5 over? He has a garage of over 100 cars which he uses.

The Anniversary edition comes with 1,000,000 credits?? so he should be able to build another collection fairly quickly.

I'm wondering if the same sign in id's can be used to record progress between the games?

Sorry if this is a stupid question but i can't find any info anywhere?

They just confirmed a couple weeks ago that there will be no garage transfer between the two titles, so what you get with preordering is what you'll have to work with.

Oh, well i can't see him wanting to part with GT5 anyway.
