I haven't found a post that fully explains driver bar colors.
What do they mean? Normal color turns into another at the end and then turns into something that looks like the loading screen bar. Bars stop improving or something. Huh?

Which bar colours? The one that identifies the physical and mental strength of Bob?

If that is what you are asking about then this:

The bars increase with experience, making Bob stronger as he gets more experience. As he gets toward the end of his career these bars start to go down. Making him less strong physically and mentally. They will never go up again. He will still drive for you, but if you keep him on he will lose strength more and more.

My advice (if you already have the air of experience trophy) - retire Bob and get a new one.

Thanks. There are several colors to those bars and I need to know what each is for/mean?

You have normal color. Then at the end is a small bit with a different color. Green or yellow. I don't know. It's different then main color. Then there is another that looks like the loading screen bar.

I have several drivers that the end of their bar is like the loading screen bar. I have a new driver with the yellow or whatever at the end.

The one like the loading bar means it is going down. ie the driver has past his best.

The lighter (yellow) colours come after winning races and gaining experience, and show how much the drivers strengths have increased.

Thanks. That's just stupid. Some guys have barely raced and the bar is like the loading screen for speed etc. I totally don't get it. So I should fire them all that way right?

Also are any of their names real f1 driver names or anything? Like massa or Hamilton or any of the others?

How many names I wonder?

Why do forumers call him Bob?

Why would one driver get level 40 but overall level is 37 or 38? I could not enter the last Bspec level 40 event.

Check out each driver, he also has a career bar. When this is getting close to full you will notice the strength indicators start to come down (loading bar type). There is a trophy for getting one Bob to get a full career bar, but after you have that I think you should sack and replace those that start to lose stats. (not all at once though!).

There are names like Massa, Vettel, Hamilton, schumacher etc. generally random with a random first name letter.

Loads of them ;)

I dont know why, but it seems to suit him :)

I used one Bob only in endurance races and he got up to level 40. He did not do any ginding on shorter courses or championships. To get to the Level 40 B spec event means doing lots of races (esp endurance) over and over again...

You will get there but it does take a long long time.

What do the green arrows mean? Sometimes they point up, sometimes down, sometimes straight. Sometimes they're orange, usually they're green. Why are some helmuts bigger than others?

@wateryd:

Up means Bob is feeling good for the next race, Down means he is not feeling great and will not drive as fast. Across > means he is feeling ok, but not as good as up. These arrows only really matter when Bob has to race properly in a similar powered car to his opposition (ie early levels).

They do not matter so much if he is vastly outpowering the opposition. They do not matter at all if he is driving the x2010.

I do not have a clue about the helmets question...
