Batch File To Edit Registry?

I have a few registry tweaks I always apply to my computer every time it gets formatted, and with another one coming up soon, I thought it'd be easier to make a batch file that would insert/edit the appropriate registry keys accordingly. Then I could just wack it on a floppy and run it when I need it.

Anyone got any idea on how I'd do this? The only thing I've done as far as batch files go is starting multiple programs.

grab one of the registry files from www.blackviper.com - open it up in notepad and you will see the way in which the strings and keys are added into the *.reg file...then you *could* just create your own or remove the strings you don't need.

Thanks emad. I made a custom .reg file with all my tweaks and it works. :)

Yup... the .reg extension is useful for editing the registry. You'll find it handy if you ever try to install litestep on win2k or xp.
