Has anyone tried using the lycra beach shoes/ wet shoes that you can get on Ebay or at the beach, for driving while using a wheel.

I find they are perfect and give you a really good feel of the pedals.

They are also very inexpensive. Much better than socks and kinder to the pedals than trainers or normal shoes.

I just wanted to pass someting on that I found useful. Hope it helps somebody.

Try posting this in the right section(steering wheels and racing cockpits) but otherwise an interesting idea, may try it out somewhen!!

i have as i thought they looked cool, Vans(yes they are only fancy plimpsoles) are also pretty good as they are tight and have a rubber bottom

Hmm. Those look like they could do a good job... I don't particularly like using my wheel wearing socks/shoes, so something in between could work. Thanks for the pic. :)

Why bother changing to beach shoes to drive? Any shoe with thin soles will work. Puma's, lacoste's, etc... That way you can sport them when your not driving and wont have to worry about the troubles of changing for a game? Idk, just an idea.
