Now to the real thing, I really like the effect you gave to the picture (an old photo founded in the deeps of the loft). It's a really great update, and expresses many emotions. 👍

that's an awesome photo. old and messed up is so appropriate way to describe it. it's like taking a picture of the car and flicking it with your finger and turning it to what it is now. i see a bit of anger on the photo. good way to take out all the bad emotions. good stuff man, and glad to finally have you back here again.

Well i think is nice to have you back here working on your gallery Beerzy. I kinda miss all of your competition entries....Well the new update just looks fantastic. Very unique in that it looks like "an old picture" so to speak. With the crumply look as if it was taken a long time ago. I can also see what 'I feel somewhat like this' means as well. Hope you got over it now....

Hey guys,

As you've noticed, I've been posting more or less regularly these last few days, but only now I got myself to post again on my gallery.
I had already gone through evry post people left here after my last one, and some of those posts really touched me. I appreciate them all, though we don't know each other, but it feels really good to read some of the things people wrote on this thread.

It's all really fresh to me what happened, it totally turned my life around (in many ways), and as I said speedster on MSN, after that happened, I missed work for a week because I was just too drunk to even remember who I was - also because we work together which make it all A LOT harder.

I'm a bit better now, although even my personality changed (at least that's my my friends keep telling me and I have to agree with them), but I'm slowly getting back on the horse. VERY slowly.

Anyway, I'd really like to thank everyone who posted here in these last days, and say that I'll get back to competing (with new shots, not shots I already had made).

And I even got myself to do a little something on PS for the sake of having an update.
It's sort of a 'I feel somewhat like this' kind of thing. It's crappy but I couldn't really get myself to be on PS for long.

You are a great part of this GT Photo community, so it would of been sad to have lost you.

On to the shot. You have produced a very old looking shot, maybe it is better that is was a quick edit. Adds to the old, torn look of the image.

Ok, I'm currently working on some photos I had on my HD (as some of you know, my PS3 died and I'm waiting for a new one to arrive from Sony).

I haven't finished any of them, so just for the sake of posting a pic here after all this time, I'll leave you with a preview.
Well, it's not really a preview, more like a cropped bit of the unedited original.

Also, I'll post here the shot I was working on (the original only, as the one with the work done I deleted) when it happened.

I had a dreadful thought, have you pre-ordered GT5P? If so I feel very, very, very sorry for you. As you said in the PS3 thread the PS3 shouldn't turn up for 2-3 weeks wasn't it? Which surely means, if Prologue turns up while your the PS3 isn't back...the what are you going to do?

I agree, they look a bit silly like that. but the final version of the shots would have them spinning, which would make it look pretty good (at least it looked awesome beyond beliefe in my head).

Ok, so here we go.
First off, I'll pit up the S2000 I used for the tournament.
I never expected people to like it that much, but I'm really glad it got so many votes and positive comments, making all those hours of work worthwhile. Thanks a lot, guys.




And here's the base pic for the image above. I don't call it the original, because I had this shot for a long time, and I had already done a slight crop and tweak on the levels. But other than that, it's stock.





I'm also posting the shot that got me my 2nd win on the 2.0 competition hosted by SlipZtrem, which I was doing for an update to my gallery but ended up geting submitted. Apparently, one of my best decisions ever (along with the one to get the blowdryer out of the bath before stepping in it)

I'll try to have a REAL update as soon as I finish my entry for the tournament's round 1, as I already have some work done on a few images.

damn hot entries man! the s2k really caught my eye. very metallic. cant remember seeing anything like that since bramturismo showed me a pic of his old monaro/gto for the tournament a while ago. i dont know how i'm gonna face off to that. i'm screwed.
oh btw, when i said 'the white one' i was talking about the gt40 stock pic you posted before, you know, with the dodge ram wheels. i was a bit sarcastic with the comment hoping you dont leave the wheels like that. anyways goodluck with the comp man.
