Grrrrr...... Although you clearly put in the effort and had the shot to beat me to a pulp that doesn't mean I am not dissapointed that I haven't made it. You know the best man won. I must say that the CCCL Week 10 Entry is mind blowing I don't kow who to vote for this week at all they are all amazing!

I have to say that I'm glad you didn't entered the shot you posted on your gallery (the one with the upper angle on the Viper), or it would have been close.

Thank you very much for your comment, Cod. The cleanup was exhaustin on the Vette, especially ALL the lines on the hood - headlights included - , since they were all jagged and muddy.
And you nailed it on the effect I was looking on the BMW, exactly that! 👍 It's really great when at least one person in the world thinks like you do...

I did the cut/paste thing, but no enlarging, freddy. I really suck at blurring angled wheels, and can't do it at all if they are partially hidden by the car's body, so cut/paste is the way I go.
But with this one, it didn't came out as I intended, because I couldn't get the shutter speed slow enough to get a nice spin visual, because anything below 160 and the outside of the rim blurred up.
Also, thanks for the comment on the BMW and your wishes for the rest of the tournament. 👍

I'm liking what you're doing with the beamer there, how it's only half in the shot, seems very original. I like the good use of contrast and blur you used on the background too.

Hmm wish i entered that shot though . Thats is actually why I didn't enter it because I showed it in my gallery if I hadn't then I would have changed that rubbish thing called my entry to that but I couldn't. Good luck in the next round though!

Nice to have competed with you man. To be honest I expected a "more 2.0" entry because you used a quite difficult pic to modify. It seemed much more like a PMC entry because that, the big difficult to fix all of low resolution textures of the image.

I was taking a look arround some comp and I was amazed with the Uneditted photo you entered. It is so photoreallistic...

I didn't want to do a 'blur' entry as that would be too repetitive, but that doesn't mean it looks like a PMC entry, imo. The celaning on the Celica took a lot of time and is rather decent, at least to me. And I just liked the shot very much, it was perfect for the theme.
Glad you like the unedited shot, I only took 3 for the comp and that was the one that catched my eye in the 1st place.
Good luck for the rest of the tournament!

Now, I REALLY need some help.
Since yesterday, I'm totally unable to upload any images to imageshack.
On my imageshack toolbar, when I click 'Upload', nothing happens, the window for browsing the files doesn't show up. On imageshack site, when I click 'Browse' nothing happens either, the browsing window doesn't show up.

I even tried registering to another site (ImageHosting.com), but the same thing is happening there too (browse window doesn't show up).

Anyone have any ideas on what's happening and how to get over this?
It's really pissing me off, as I have some shots to upload and am unable to do it... Could it have to do with my PC's software? Something I have to enable/disable? I'm really lost here...

It could be your computer. I know when I'm on the internet for a couple of hours hardly anything will work, like in the reply box, after awhile all the buttons will stop working and I'll have to type in all the codes manually.

It's the 1st time I ever do a remix on someone else's shot, so I hope it doesn't suck too much...

Yeah, I pushed on the blues a bit more than usual, since I wanted it to be the same both on the scenery and on the car, and I wanted the car's reflections to define it's shape.

Not too sure about the colour of the first shot, still very well done though.

Cool you liked them both, I had fun doing them. The Cobra has a bit of this, a bit of that... mostly very transparent adjustment layers, about 5 or 6, can't remember. And I desaturated it a bit too.

Now, here's the shot I entered for the Head to Head comp this week.
I spent a lot of time doing the gradient maps, dodging lines and light spots, burning shadows, cleaning, smoothening, getting those windshield wipers (front and back) to look decent and highlighting them, getting the shadow on the tarmac to appear sharp instead of blurred... you name it.

I haven't won it yet, speedster... And I'm not thinking I will, there are some truly great shots on the HTH comp already, but I'll be pleased if I'll get some
