I am one of these types that are obsessed with being first on the leaderboard, even for a poxy challenge at the beginning of the game 
My friend is beating me on the VERY FIRST challenge by about .050 of a second. I've tried everything, in manual, to get ahead. Timed all sorts of different gear changes etc.
Someone on the world leaderboard has it in about 11.4 seconds! My question is... how on earth do you get a good enough launch in order to get a time like that??
I have TCS on 1 and no other aids....

EDIT: It's worth noting my friend cannot replicate his time - not even close
