I've started drifting yesterday. The first car I used was a 395 Hp Genki Hyper Silvia SR2 '03 (tuned with some help from people on the forums). I've spent about 6 hours drifting in it and become pretty good.

Still I tried to tune another Silvia, but I can't seam to get it right. Honestly I thing I'm tuning it wrong and I want to try tuning it by myself, so I guess I'm asking is if there is any advice or formulas that can help me set up the car?

The genki isn't really a good car to start with. What silvia are you trying to tune?.

I found a good base set up on the team nemesis website a while ago and went from there..

If I remember right..camber: -3,-1
toe: -0.08,0
ride height: a few clicks up from the lowest.
LSD either 60,60,60 or 5,60,60
And just adjust the gearing if need be to the car you are using.

Coming from Forza I never really played with tuning when I drifted as I never felt I needed to, now coming to gt5 over half a year ago after wanting it really bad when I saw the official launch trailer in 2010 (yea I know, turned up a little late right..better late than never) I felt that tuning was needed for drifting (personally)

Anyway..Go hard, it helped me :D

I didn't ask if it was good (not to be rude), I drift in it pretty well, and even scored about 15k points in it on the drift trial. I'm not the average noob... Anyway it's the Silvia aero r34 '99 or something like that. I just need to learn how to tune. Btw I drifted the Genki around autumn ring about 90 times today (around 5-6 hours?).

Thanks. Helped me get a better understanding on what I'm doing, lol. Using a 5 gear car though I use 2nd and 3rd as my main gears >.<. Hopefully I can figure out what I'm doing to the poor car.
