300 HP in the GT5 drifting universe is few considered, but in real life is something enough to make a car owner proud.

Pictures, setups, ideas for events, from the old gems to the bone stock or the street cars with small budget mods... youre welcome to discuss it in here.

Great idea 👍 I love to drift low hp. I must suggest the fc rx-7 with some sports parts and of course the s13 with weight reduction racing exhaust for sound and maybe a turbo. Oh and always close ratio tranny for both.

No miata love? I have a premium nc that is 291 I believe, and I also have a cosmo around the same hp. I prefer to keep my drift cars around 300-350.

Here are some suggestions for cars under 300 HP that can be a challenge but are fun to drift just as much as high powered JDM cars that everyone uses these days.

Im still no good, but I usually drift my Hachi Roku. I'll practice with that till I find a Solstice, then I'm sure that will be my go to drift car. Ill probably buy one every time I see one, so I can have a stock one and various levels of modded ones for the types of races Ill want them for.

I suggest drifting the AE86 stock. I have done nothing whatsoever to the car (apart from oil change and hard comforts) and it still clocks 19-20k around Tsukuba.

You know, with the rotary line up they have, and had in the other gt's, (comso, eunos cosmo, fc, fd, rx8) and considering the older skylines, hondas, ect. I'm surprised by the fact that they dont yet have and of the luce, rx3, rx4, rx5, or, the sa/fb rx7, which is the one I own irl and wish I could get in this game. That would be agreat under 300 hp car.
