Designed for the 1986 F1 season, the Benetton B186 is powered by a 1.5 litre turbocharged BMW straight four engine, which in qualifying trim (the spec that I am suggesting here) ran over 1,400 bhp. The turbo lag was reportedly awful, but the B186 still dominated the straights on circuits such as Monza, Spa and the Osterreichring (now the RedBull Ring), even setting a top speed record at Monza of 218 mph.

Out of 16 races, the B186 had 1 victory, 2 pole positions, and set 3 new lap records, and I for one would love to pit this beast against Senna's 97T...

Probably one of the best looking F1's from the 80's. The very similar B187 is nice looking too but didn't have the qualifying squirt this had thanks to the FIA mandated pop-off valve that restricted boost.

Considering there's no decent F1 game available at the moment, we need a selection of historically significant F1's to play with.
