Bentley shifting into high gear

Bentley seems to finally kicked their gears and running those Audi's down For a first year in the series, this new car may just take the series in its rookie season

The fastest overall time of the day was set by defending American Le Mans Series champion Tom Kristensen, driving a Bentley Speed 8 Prototype to a lap of 3:34.820 around the 8.625-mile French racing circuit.

That's an average of 144.4MPH over a LeMans course. Damn skippy.

Le Mans will be exciting this year with the Bentleys and the privateer Audis. Some of the lower GT classes will be closer as well
