After perfecting axle pivot steering, Karl Benz went on to expand his cars from three wheelers to four wheeled cars. The successor to his "Patent Motorwagen" was the Viktoria which was introduced in late 1892. It incorporated many of the revolutionary features that the Motorwagen had: A carburator, battery, ignition coil, and differential drive. The Victoria was Benz's first luxury vehicle and it was much more modern than the aging Motorwagen. The Viktoria was available as a two seater or four seater dubbed the Vis-à-Vis or Face-to-Face. The Viktoria helped pave the way to the first mass produced Benz the following year. The Velocipede. The Viktoria stayed in production until 1900 with it's power and displacement increasing through the years.
