the 787 is like the sports car version of my Force India in F1 2012 career mode. BTW freshseth, the real 787 looks like a toy model.

I have to be honest I did not have high hopes for today going well.
Some people bailed out last minute or didn't show at all, complaining about penalties & not know the rules, so much unnecessary chatter on the mics for qualifying, showing up without even having the right car And to top it off my PS3 froze 2x and gave me the "system must check your HDD for errors screen" right when we were lining up ready to start.

But once we started the pace lap and got underway all that went away 👍. The race was Fantastic, even though I didn't drive well at all I had a great time today. There were battles on track almost everywhere from start to finish and everyone kept a cool head and did their best to keep the racing clean. GT5 really hasn't been this much fun (for me at least) in months and I hope you all enjoyed yourselves.

Thanks to all you guys who showed up and put on an awesome show and congrats to Gprili for taking the win.

Was fun, had a lot of good battles.

Was a great race! I always give my best in Le Mans! Qualify was a bit unlucky for me I got a penalty and I got traffic in each one of my laps

I made my calculation for fuel before the race and my intention was to make 3 stop to put 30 liters each. But I ended up with 30/25/25 liters 👍

I always put more fuel than needed in La Sarthe because the game is very weird in this track with fuel calculations.

Was a great mind battle with RedPartyhat, we were equal in lap time I was hoping to come out of the last pit in front of him... and that worked! He was very unlucky to came out in last pitstop in traffic with GTP_LancerEvo7, that plus the strategy gave me the 8sec margin that I kept until the end.



I have to congratulate with everyone who took part, very fast and clean race expecially in the beginning with lots of car 👍

That qualifying was pretty damn great. One thing I never understood though was how I could lose 1.5 secs in the last sector compared to BK's time. I may have slowed down a little, but it was still a good sector... but, that doesn't matter.

I'm sorry I quit the race, but I had a major accident. To top it off, when I was trying to get back on track the road was so slippery I just spun out immediately again, causing me to hit the wall and take damage. Plus, I don't think anyone was around me, so I thought I'd spectate instead.

I really think I would've had a shot at the win, but it would require a run without mistakes, which I had made plenty of already.

It could be fun with a race like this again, but I think people should practice a bit more before the race and know about where the penalties are and stuff, that could've made the race closer.

Something like this LMPs at Nurb 24h? Crazy? Challenging? (Day and night cycle without weather) I'd love it! I'll be available the week end before Christmas and the one after. Not for the first ten days of January.

Well will be something to remember 👍 maybe the Nurb 24h normal track without night will be better to see the track...

or... we can bis Le Mans but with a longer race

If any Nürburgring, only the GP/F works. There are no overtaking opportunities at Nordschleife or 24H and you would just end up in the grass too often.

La Sarthe is the God of all tracks. Spa is Jesus.

I wouldn't be able to participate before January 15 onwards, though.

Nope, nope nope nope - My days of hosting fully organized series are over.
Just a fun race every once from here on out.

It's great to race with such and awesome group of guys on GT5 but as far as GT5 as a sim goes - I'm over it & to me its not worth the effort or as much fun. I'll definitely host a Le Mans Series again but on a PC Sim ( pCARS / Asseto Corsa).


I'll see what I'm doing in the next 2-3 weeks and Ill let you guys know if I can set-up a race later in December. For sure i'll host another race in January some time @ La Sarthe same format.

p.s. For anyone of you guys in the USA that want to race LMPs on a weeknight - I currently race in AllinwitJT's LMP series which just started last week. Wednesday nights @ 9:30 PM Eastern.
