Do you mean the Corvette Grand Sport ? That blue one which always appears in the 80's Sports Car Cup ( If I'm not mistaken )
I think you could purchase the RX7 or the Supra . The Camaro SS feels a lil heavy for me . I dunno about the Skyline .

I've point you towards a Lancer EVO. you can run it in the 4wd, the EVO challenge, teh Trial Mtn. Enduro, and the Polyphony Digital Cup.

I also concur. It may not be the be-all-and-end-all car, but it is very versatile and fun to drive. In stock form it will take the races where it is required to be stock, and it responds well to modifications.

My favorite is the Evo VI RS (the lightest in weight; and weight is The Enemy), but anything from V up has pretty good power exven stock.

This kind of goes back to the "150,000Cr Challenge". The basic rules were buy a car from the dealer and do any tune-ups you want, but spent no more than 150,000 credits. Then race it on a predetermined track for best lap time. It was a lot of fun. We ended up finding out that buying a more expensive car and doing fewer aftermarket tunes to it would produce better results than starting with something small and slaming huge turbos and better suspension on it.

He means the horsepower will never go down because you'll never drive it because the handling sucks so badly.
;)

Have you beaten Arcade 'Hard' mode? You can beat Arcade 'Hard' mode using a $37,000 Honda s2000.

In Simulation mode but a Honda s2000 and buy all the upgrades EXCEPT do not buy the racing chip,do not buy the NA tune-up,do not buy the Turbo and do not buy the Intercooler. Now go to arcade mode and race. There won't be any race cars in the races.

This also works with the RUF 2400s,Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport,Nissan 300ZX 2 Seater and Supra RZ-S.

You can beat Arcade Hard with a stock Arcade car...

No you can't.

I did, I used the Lexus IS200 from the arcade car choices. The only competition it put me against was pretty easy to beat. Like Peugot 206's and VW Beetles I believe.

You can also do it in an F1 because they won't put you up against other F1's, just 787B's and the like, which are no competition against an F1.

Yes. Yes, you can. You can easily beat the Arcade races even on Professional mode using a stock Arcade car of the same class. The Pro mode races are 10 laps long and I never failed to win by less than 10 seconds in the Arta NSX, over the other JGTC cars. And I was slowest person in that competition, too; the fastest people were almost A MINUTE faster than I, meaning they were most of the way to lapping the back markers.

Getta Lancer evo VI T.M.E. (I have black one) or a Skyline (34) those handle very nicely for 52k... thats just a few more but they are awesome. I have a white one with black rims... :trouble:

I used to say that the Skyline had crap handling. But now mine is a track monster.

Turn of TCS and ASM and make sure all LSD's are set lowest in front and pretty low in the back. That makes it turn, and you will never fishtail or lose the back end when you step on it, and it will nicely pull you around like a race car under throttle.

the R33 Skyline would be your best bet, but you have to either heavily tune the suspension, or learn to drive it. its an Absolute monster to both tune and drive, but it'll give you some mind-blowing results
