I was wondering what type of cockpit people have bought if they didnt want to make their own. What type was it and how much did it cost, and are you satisfied? Thanks!

Went with BRD's (BallRacing Development) Race Frame Pro; Costly but it suits my needs quite well!
Pics can be found by clicking apprpopriate link in sig!

Love it to death! :D

That is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen...

I noticed you bought the modded Frex Wheel and shifter/handbrake. Did you order the parts and assemble yourself, or did you send them your wheel and have them take care of it?

The pedals you got, do they use the PMB(2)?

Also, can your setup easily be used for both ps2 and pc without a generic "PS2toPC" controller adapter?

The setup you have is something I would really like to look into, so any help or information is much appreciated.

Thanks!

@ Shadow Hado:

* The Frex modded wheel was purchased fully assembled, as I didn't have the technical skills to want to even attempt the assembly myself.
* The pedals DO have the PMB and I can't imagine using anything else!
* Don't currently have a decent PC to run racing games on, but if I did, going from the PS2 to the PC would be pretty easy as all I would need to do is unplug the wheel from the PS2 and plug it into the PC. However, the TV I am currently using doesn't have a RGB/PC input so that would be the only issue to deal with.
* Feel free to PM me any additional questions you might have as I don't want to hi-jack Askia47's thread.

Thanks,

Turbo,

I'll post some pics here in a while of my set up. I'll break down the pricing and what was used. You'll see it's a good middle of the road alternative:)
