M5 with this ugly spoiler is the fastest. M5, M3 without spoiler are very relaxing and good for tandems. I can't choose between them, both are great.

Never tried 135i though :D

Honestly all of them are very good (talking about the street cars...also not sure about the 120i, never tried it).

In fact, I can't think of one of the FR street cars from BMW that would be a "bad" drift car. I'd actually say most if not all of them are above average.

Grab all the BMW street cars in the OCD right now and you'll have a handful of some of the best drift cars in the game.

To answer your question directly, I'm not sure it's really possible to say one of them is the best, as they are all just that good. But, if I had to put one at the top of the list or get kicked in the junk, I'd say the M3 GTR is the best. It Is blessed with perfect weight distribution, is stupid fast, and handles like a dream...a combo which lands it on the banned cars list in most comps...but it's still hella fun to drift 👍

120I is horrible in my opinion with the 120d. Coenz m5 without a spoiler can keep up with an m3 with a spoiler, and I think nearly any other car.

The 135i is my main drift car next to me C63 AMG which I made to look like a Black Series. I've never used a car other than those two that I'm really comfortable with no matter what speed I'm at. The only thing I don't like about my 135i is that it understeers unless I'm drifting with tons of angle, but that's just my tune. Once I'm really far sideways, the car feels like it's on rails.

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍:sly:

I love the torque on that thing. I drift by flicking and clutch kicking (rarely use e-brake) so the torque of that diesel suits my style perfectly. The 120d is easily in my top 5 favorite drift cars.:sly:

Im curious whats the best drifting BMW out there?

In my opinion, the M3 GTR is the best drift car out of ALL of the BMW's. It is also one of the best drift (and race) cars in the game - hands down.

The M3 GTR was my primary car for a couple months shortly after GT5 was released but I switched to the M3 Coupe '07 because I felt that the GTR was an "easy mode" car like the FD, ZR1, S2k GT just to name a few.

However, the GTR requires some serious tuning to suspension and transmission so that it can fit your drift style (just as any car). :sly:

For me, the 135i and the 1-series Concept tii are always my weapons of choice. Full tuned engine with mid range turbo works on every track for me. I never mess with the settings, and it always fits in with good power from all sides of the powerband. But that's just me.

The M3 '04 and the M3 CSL are great cars as well, the only problem I have with them are the "notchy" gearboxes.

Those 4 are my primary BMW drift cars, but being one of the many who own all BMW cars in the game, I'll honestly say every BMW drifts well enough, at least fun enough.

They all tends to be decent drifting cars, but... that BMW M Coupe '98 only gave me headaches so far. I didn´t found a suspension tuning for that yet.

I thought the Z3M is quite easy to tune imo ;o You using wheel or DS3?

The M5 is too fast to be realistic (for its weight). The M3 doesnt have a really good power curve/tad too grippy, and the 120i/d lack power. All in all, the only BMW's i really love using are the 135i and the 135tii sports concept (or something). Both premiums. The 330i (standard) is fine as well, but might lack a tad of power. The standard M3's are okay as well :)
