I am quite a large fan of the Legend. Unfortunately it is no longer in production ):

Klos - Prelude is nice ... I liked the boxy ones they've done recently.

Jag - Are you sure it's a Legend and not the Vigor?

Yes loud I am talking about the Legend ( still cool  )
the Legend is very much available in Australia see pic below

but it does bring me to another point that I dont know if you guys are are aware of .. I'm not sure exactly how it goes but it's something like this ... Japan has a system when you buy a new car over there when it is licenced for he first time this is done for 2 years the next renewal cost the price goes up the 4th year it goes up again the 5 year the premium to licence the car is then nearly double so everybody sells there car when they hit 5 years old which keeps good reliable cars on the road and the motor industry booms from it

Then some real smart Aussie come along a relized theres all these near new cars sitting in the junk yards that nobody wants and there only 5 years old thers nothings wrong with them I can make some $$$$'s

Now all these low millage one owner junk cars get loaded by the boat loads and set down under ...then the BIG BUT.... a lot of these models arent normally avaliable here they are just that little bit different they bring out all sorts of models liitle buzz boxes,4wd's people movers, sports cars eg Nissan 300zx twin turbo ( twin turbo version not availbale here) toyota soarers and the like now some of these are real great cars ( if you like Japanese cars)

I fell into this trap I brought a 1982 model Honda vigor (Vigor never available here) it was a accord with few extra's it was a great car beautiful to drive ... UNTIL.. it needs a service sorry we dont have those spark plugs in Australia  those brake pads arent available in Australia   starting to get the picture they had to import the parts $$$$ next i have small accident nothing major left had guard , grill & bumper .. sorry we cant get the same grill    we will just stick this little peice of plastic in to fill the hole suddly my great car is starting to look like a peice of crap :(

now there are 1000's of people driving around in those older peices of junk which the insurance company hate they now have a cluses in the policy you pay for any import part needed to fix your car :(

The lesson in this is if it was never available here new dont buy it regardless how great it looks how great proforms it any worth the hasselles

my old honda a great car until ... read above

would i by another Honda again yes but it will be one that was availble here but either a nsx, legend ,s2000 or maybe a prelude

The coolest Honda car, IMO, (and we're talking production model here), would be the NSX. Best ever, I will go with the civic.. There's quite a difference between a sports car and a civic, but the civic is a great all around car, hands down. I can't and never will have an NSX, that doesn't bother me though, I like small, light, inexpensive, tossable cars that you don't just leave bone stock and think you're the king in.. not to mention decent performance and cheap to run is good stuff as well.. (performance of course to increase with your own upgrades)

that doest make it the best ever because its inexpensive etc its a great little that does it job well but is in no way the best Honda make a great shopping cart for your mum

The quality here sometimes leaves much to be desired.

My favorite Honda?

S800 Coupe.

Runners up:

Civic CVCC
Mk1 Prelude
Integra Type R

the best Honda? the best handling FWD car this side of a Super1600 WRC Kitcar at SanRemo, and it's also my car... Integra Type-R...

of course, the S2000 and the NSX are better... but they cost more, too!

I'm realizing something ... and it may be blatenly obvious ... but I've never noticed this before. Are there any production Honda's with turbo? Non that I can think of. The V-Tec is just a bigger better engine isn't it?

And what about the Honda Formula 1's from 'back in the day' when Formula 1 had turbo powered cars ... did Honda run turbos then?

Just an idle thought ...

RL

The Legend is in production just not under the Legend name its the RL. The Vigor turned to the TL and the Legend into the RL. I GOT 2 LEGENDS, 1994 Coupe Tan Tan leather interior 240hp verison 2 engine, 1991 4-door Black, black leather interior 220hp version 1 engine. My dad is thinking about buying a Coupe 6-speed that would mean he would sell my 1991 4 door and I would get his 1994 Coupe :fdevil:

Honda NSX Type R, SS2000 :fdevil:, Josh's S2000.

They have been doing the same thing over here (in the UK) for a few years too (we are Right hand drive too you see, so a Japanese import makes more sense than one from say the US). But this is the best part. Not only do the import unusual stuff, they import regular cars too (Mitas Pajeros etc), and get this the car that has been transported more than half way round the globe is cheaper with better spec than the same age UK make & model.

No Honda have never added a turbo to any of there cars, you can't add one in GT either.

Legends arent exactly big cars, they will challenge the Lexus LS 430 when the Legend will get a V8 and the first Front engine rear wheel drive in an Acura. Then they will be nice BIG Cars. :)

I'm afraid you're going to be alone on that one. Honda's 'big cars' ... well the Legend is about it ... are really nice. If you want to really step it up and say BIG CARS, the Odessy is a freaking bad ass van. I'm 23 years old and I would love to have one. Unfortunately they cost the same as an S2000 ... so guess one I would pick first (:

Honda did ran turbos back then... in 1988, when McLaren won 15 of the 16 races, they were powered by Honda... Honda is the winningest engine from the Turbo Era...

It's also the best engine in CART, and they run turbos too... Honda's good with turbo engines in competition... yet they have only one or two turbo cars, but most are early 80's model, like the Honda City...

correct me if im wrong but didnt they make a stupid thing called the city that was turbo im sure

in GT3, the Civic 3 door, Civic R, S2000s, and some others are turbo. Media, sorry, but you are incorrect, unless you're talking about the GT real life racing, but that still doesn't sound right....

even in Real life... how do you think the guys with 9 seconds drag cars do? they bolt on the hugest (is that a word?) hairdryer they can find...

i wonder what's next... you can't add a blower and drag slicks to a Camaro?
