Okay well I will be rebooting my computer with a fresh copy of windows sometime this week and want the best internet browser that takes up the least amount of system resources.. IE is good, but it eats up my RAM like it's nothing. But then again I'm only running 128mb and 600mhz.. but yea, best browser using least amount of resources would be....?

Mozilla Firebird.

It's quite picky about coding, so some web sites may look slightly out of kilter, but it's certainly the smallest. About 6MB on disk.

If you've got a screen bigger than 1024x768 then Opera is cool.

I've been wondering about this too...could you find any disadvantages with stuff like Mozilla and Opera? I want to try a new browser but I'm unsure if it'd just be crap and stuff up my computer.

There are no disadvantages as far as stuffing up your computer go. In fact, you'd probably get more probems with IE than other browsers.

But yeah, Firebird is definately the way to go. It's rendering speed is awesome!

is there a download link for firebird?

Go to www.mozilla.org.

The only disadvantage that I've encountered is when clicking on Mailto: links they often try to open their own related mail systems rather than using the system default mail system. This isn't a problem if you use the full version of Mozilla, or install OperaMail, but I use Outlook, so it's a problem for me.

I will probably get Mozilla when I get my new computer...Sounds good. So it can read all the websites that IE can right?

Yeah. In fact, Mozilla (Firebird included) actually has better standards support than IE.
