I did a search and no result came up. I was wondering what is your favorite Media Player? I have 3 personal favorite. The best one I use is the Divx.

The reason I like Divx is its really clear. With Window Media Player and Real Player, its not that clear and it tends to stuck. The file im mostly refering to are AVI.

3 favorite:

Divx
Window Media
Real Player

What are your favorite Media Player? Also is there any other player that is very good that is not one of the three I listed?

I use WMP for videos and Itunes for music.

I don't really care for Realplayer. I rarely use Divx. Except for required codecs I might need.

Real Player is most likely, no definitely, the worst program ever written. Do not ever use it under any circumstances.

I use Windows Media Player and Quicktime depending on the filetype.

I usually use one of the following:
winamp
Media Player Classic - an open source media player that I use mostly as a realplayer and quicktime alternate - it handles every video format I've thrown at it
BSPlayer - like media player classic but not as awesome
Windows Media Player

You run it on a Crapple (I just thought that up; clever, eh?), so it doesn't matter.

I read that link in your signature earlier today. Funniest thing evar.

Ain't it? I was particularly fond of the Bluetooth laser mouse.

I run everything though Windows Media Player Series 9, including AC3 audio and Divx movies as well. On occasion, I'll use interactual's Player for DVD's, but mostly for their "full" screen modes.

I use Windows Media Player for video clips, InterActual for DVDs, and Winamp for MP3s.

But actually, I hardly ever use any of them. I've pretty much given up on MP3.

-for .avi files I use Micro DVD player (free player with excellent quality, I've had the least problems with this one)

-mp3's = winamp 3.91

-quicktime files = quicktime

-all other movies and sounds = WMP

DivX for downloaded videos (played in WMP9)
Quicktime for streaming videos (no buffering time)

I didn't! Even though my user account is privatized, so nobody can see my files, also, I have a firewall, so I don't see how it could be gone. It just dissapeared, it should be where I looked instead that folder is empty. It's not my fault. :P

emad uses that? Ack! I better stop using it. Don't want to be a groopie.:odd:

Actually, despite the small, ugly apperence, it rocks. It's got just as many, if not more, futures than other media players, and they're all higher quality. THe only thing it lacks is a visualizer, but that would only bloat it. When it's playing it uses like 800kb + the size of the song being played. I like everything about it. You should deffinitely try it if you haven't already. Really try it, though. Simply opening it and playing a song does nothing for making it seem nice. Play around with all of the preferences and stuff. The equalizer is great, and the auto-level button rocks.

I have tried it. It kept stuffing around with my tags. It's not that ugly once you download a few components and spend about 3 hours configuring it:

attachment.php

Oh, by the way. You can download a component for Foo that lets you use Winamp visualizations as well.
