I just picked up this DVD (the international version). Another excellent disc with a decent translation.

I don't seem to keep up on news that well - I was surprised to find out that they're changing Fuji Speedway and won't be open again until 2005! When news breaks and I find out well after the fact, I feel like I've been living under a rock.

The Fuji battle was fun to watch, as was the first-drives of the TRD Altezza and the Nismo 350Z. Also included was the Touge Challenge MAX - those are always fun to watch.

Where'd you buy it from? I've been searching the stores for Fuji Fast and Rotory Revolution for a while now.

There's an AutoFreak (or something similar) store in a Mitsuwa marketplace in Costa Mesa. $23. I believe there's a similar store (if not an AutoFreak) in the Downtown LA Mitsuwa as well.

You can also try the Kinokuniya or Ashahiya bookstores too.

Dorifto, yeah - that's some French pop star named Alizee. I don't know what her songs sound like, though. I just know that the avatar (at least my original size version is really hypnotic)

Best Buy has the older BMI videos, but I'm sure you're already aware, but they don't have any listings (current or future) for Volumes 8 and 9. In fact, if you've picked up any BMI videos from a car or tuning shop, you'll notice that they don't have UPC symbols, but the Best Buy ones do. The repackaging is probably delaying the release of the newer ones.

Either that, or the currently released discs are more of a litmus test for how popular the BMI will be and sell.

But to address your original point, no they aren't at Best Buy or Fye...yet.

Hondaracer88 asked about my avatar also, Dorifto. I explained that I got the the original animated GIF from another community that's based on cellular phones called Howard Forums (kinda like us geeks, but they're always talking about the newest cell phone they got). Anyway, the GIF was part of someone's sig. I took it and resized - but the bad news is that I accidentally saved the avatar sized version over the original. Sorry.
