Best options to stop cars from ghosting

Hi what are the best option settings to stop the cars from ghosting?
What i mean by that is usually in a corner 1st driver slows down much more than 2nd driver, and 2nd driver ghosts thru the lead car and they can race in each others ghost until they seperate.
I much prefer the crash. any help appreciated.

The lower the better. Tbh I don't mind cars ghosting at the start, because usually somebody Grosjeans into me.

thank you Malcolm, i have been racing with penalty on recently.
i agree it is handy on the 1st corner Craig.
I just usually have a counter reaction to them hitting me thou and when it ghosts that counter reaction being unneeded usually makes me lose control lol.

Yeh I find the ghosting frustrating (I always try to drive round them anyway ) so I always have penalty off

And now, thanks to the 1.12 update, you'll have to ask drivers to refrain from using the start menu while racing (as that causes cars to ghost as well).

If the driver is not playing,it's better to become a ghost,than being an moving obstacle on the track. At least with ghost,you can just pass trought him without losing time.

Not for people like me who save replays of online races & like to watch them, ghosting cars ruins the realism.

I'd rather have that though than go around a blind corner in the middle of the night only to find somebody dawdling in the middle of the track.

The realism is ruined in anyways when someone ram you like hell,and nothing happens with the cars. That's why we only save replays of clean and legit races,not in any public rooms.
