Best Premium Car for 550pp tuning?

Right, Ive got a Clio V6 which I have tuned quite nicely for 500pp. I have a Sud for 600pp... but having problems finding one suited for 550pp Anyone got any recommendations and set ups for a good car to use?

I'm not gonna be original but a NSX Type-R 02 with one of the settings available on forum. I think it can be tune to 550 without too much trouble.

Its a difficult one trying to find something with the right balance of power and weight. Lighten the car up to get the cornering, you have to knock down the power and loose overall top speed and acceleration.

Have the car too powerful its too heavy! Argh!

the Ferrari F40 handles like a dream and comes about 530 stock... Stick a custom suspension on it and a low rpm turbo to fight that aweful turbo lag and it should handle like a dream even on sports hards.

if you need a very light car , buy an Lotus Elise 111R '04 , make it fully tuned , 550PP , 316cv / 759kg , very nice acceleration and a good power/weight performance (2.40kg/cv ~).

It's for a seasonal event ? race ? Maybe i can help you.

This is for online races rather than just any one specific event, so need a bit of a jack of all trades.

Not bad choice, but I found that when it comes to decelerating from high speeds to corner its gets really unstable! Not massively impressed with its cornering ability either. But that may just be my set up.

As above, need something thats a jack of all trades, cars that are too light I find suffer on tracks that need to reach a high speed such as Le Mans. However, I have seen a couple of them in 550pp races that work very well so I may get another 111R and get testing.

the high speed of the lotus is medium, add me on psn : ktz57220. I'll watch for some cars and say to you what car u can use :)

Depends on the track right. Something tight and twist like C 'd A, an Elise 111 with Aero or a Scooby will clean up most of the time.

A track with straight will leave those two aforementioned for dead - I've seen a lot of Gallardos being effective in those scenarios, but they take some tuning to clean up the sidewash/ understeer.

Its also a philosophy - take a low powered car up to 550pp, or drop a high powered car down to 550pp or find something around 550pp stock. I havent seen good results for the middle option, the first and last seem to be the most effective, especially with some rather quick Scoobies :odd:

I have a King of the Road for 550pp, but thats my secret ;)

Not a premium but the RUF RGT '00 was spanking the rest of my RUF tunes at 550PP. I was trying to down tune it and had to set the power limiter at 70% just to knock 10 seconds off it's Nordschleife lap times.

NSX type-R 02 .. Hands down. Set weight to 1100kgs and max power till you get 550pp. Will run low 6:40s with a controller on Nordisheilf no problem. If you got a wheel I could see low-mid 6:30s. Got another fast driver to draft with heck maybe even 20s

the Amuse 380RS SuperLegerra is one to go have a look at for that kind of PP

I had one of these in the garage. Bought up all the other tune up bits then some gear box adjustments, lower and stiffening of the suspension, increasing the sensitivity of the LSD and I was getting 1:48 round they Daytona Road course. 👍

This was about 2 seconds faster than what I was getting with my Ferrari Scud round the same track. :dopey:

Will keep tweaking.

Pics or it didnt happen. A production NSX R does not have the ability to keep up with GT500 cars on the Nurburgring. I am running 6:42.xxx consistently on nearly a perfect race line. There is no way you can pull a 10-15 sec faster time unless you do that ******** no wear or fuel consumption that people compensate for a bad tune.

I appreciate your scepticism, but my lap was far from perfect. Maybe 3 seconds or so I could make up if I wanted. All aids where off. Also note this was a starting lap, there's time to be shaven off there too.

GT500 cars should put around 6.20s laps if you're good and have a good setup and I'm not talking about max out GT500.
