Once i get my Broadband (After January) I will be rolling in that stuff :)

The only 2 things that I don't have on that list that I want is Roxio GoBack 3 Deluxe & Microsoft Visual Studio .NET Professional. Oh yeah, Microsoft Office XP.

Do you actually download stuff like that?

I just get whatever software I need to use from work. Although im too lazy to search for Photoshop and Premiere.

I don't have all that.

Off that list I have PS7, Flash MX and Dreamweaver MX. The only other 3 things I want wre the ones I listed above.

The current System Restore program I have (ConfigSafe - I hate). And I don't have Office (I have a copy of Lotus SmartSuite that came with the computer but I hate Lotus). And I think that Visual .NET Pro program would be cool (excluding the price tag).

PQ magic is usefull.

Well for me it is anyway, because I tend to set up very complicated dual boot setups. Oh boot magic is handy for that as well.

I am still debating on whether to install this OS called Lycoris Desktop/LX which is like Windows XP and Linux put together. It came on a CD with the mag I got that info out of.

Heh im going to download the redhat iso image files overnight. Thats 650mb a piece. Mind you I got 50mb done in about 2mins or so.

The more I see - the more I like.

Ugh I hate the XP style interface.

When I can be arsed to XP my pc im making sure that I use the theme that looks like Win2k, because I just hate XP`s layout.

" The best bet right now is Lycoris Desktop/LX, which costs a mere $29. Lycoris has done an excellent job of hiding all the scary jargon usually associated with Linux, and its desktop looks like Windows' identical twin...most basic needs are met right out of the box: programs compatible with Microsoft Office, Outlook, AOL Instant Messenger, Adobe Photoshop -- and, of course, Tetris."

It's cheap and should run the programs I have on my computer. For me its free because the full OS came on a CD. If your in Australia - pick up the latest issue of PC User and you'll get it free too!
